He tightened his hold around its neck, "I was told cats always land on their feet." Alpha bellowed a wicked smirk forming as Xeric growled, he pulled him closer his fingers digging into his skin, so that the beast was unable to breathe, his voice deep and deadly "I hope for your sake, it’s the same for dogs" he growled. With a flick of his, hand Legion was discarded like he was nothing, falling from the sky. Azian flew back not bothering what could have happened to the so-called prince of Lycans.

When it turned into a 1-star beast, the little wolf would be able to use the power from his bloodline to quickly increase in power until it could survive by itself. One day Golden saw a 2-star black wolf, the same black wolf that fled from the Fire-wood Tiger. Golden was unable to see it well before, but the bloodline obtained from the Legacy burned with rage when he looked at it. Besides protecting the little wolf, the last thing the Frost Wolf wished was to kill the black wolf who fled at the most important moment.

"He relies on raw power and rage! That works in a one-on-one duel. It gets you slaughtered in a war!" I stopped in front of Jaxon, the young warrior I had saved in the snow, and again at the gorge. He stiffened, staring straight ahead. "In the Legion, the wolf beside you is your shield," I told them, my voice dropping to a dangerous, mechanical hum. "You do not break the line to seek glory. You do not leave your flank exposed to chase a kill. If you break my line, I will not let the vampires kill you. I will kill you myself."

"What bloodline?" Varyn's grip grew tighter, but I was strong enough, I didn't feel pain. “Silver Fang. Legends speak of wolves born with silver eyes—a cursed lineage with power to command all packs, even Alphas. If she survives through the night, long enough to awaken, she will be unstoppable.” My face went white, and my confidence cracked for the first time that night. But I buried it instantly, “You're saying I just rejected—” “You know the consequences if she lives,” Varyn interrupted, his whisper sharp as a dagger. "The council is already aware. They’ve sent hunters."

I looked at my father, demanding an explanation, but he kept his eyes on the hunters. He finally told me the truth. The Silver Bloodline was one of the oldest werewolf bloodlines in existence, a lineage that had once ruled over wolves long before modern packs and Alpha territories were created. My ancestors possessed an ability that made other Alphas fear them because they could command wolves without using physical dominance. Their blood carried an authority that other wolves could instinctively recognize, and when the true heir awakened, even powerful Alphas could feel the urge to submit. I stared at him, struggling to understand why he was telling me this now, and when I asked why anyone

He simply gazed at me, his green eyes shadowed by emotions I couldn't identify. That's when I understood. He was already aware of the truth. Tina circled me, her tone smooth and taunting. "Your father the genuine Alpha of this pack fell in love with someone he shouldn't have." She tilted her head. "Your mother was no ordinary she-wolf, Gwen. She belonged to a bloodline believed to be extinct." Liam sighed heavily. "The Blood Moon Clan." A chill ran down my spine. I recognized that name. The Blood Moon Clan was among the most powerful and feared wolf bloodlines, renowned for their unparalleled strength and unique abilities.

The air around smelled faintly of blood. Qin Haodong walked around and realized that Bao Ziping did keep lots of fierce dogs here, including Tosa, Dogo, Caucasus, Rottweiler, and Bull Terrier. Those dogs might have been fierce before, but all of them were lying on the ground now, wounded and gasping. "Dr. Qin, thank you!" Bai Ziping said. Qin Haodong did not say anything. Instead, he walked to a large Caucasian dog. Its hair was dripping with blood, one of its legs had been completely broken, and dozens of tiny wounds covered its body.

God, what is he doing to me, I don’t like it. Speaking of those nasty witches, I’ve been more vigilant than ever. I was attacked by this rabid dog from Monteluna called the lucid hound that can kill a werewolf with one bite, they’re wild animals that shouldn’t be kept in the house but some stupid werewolves think they’re invincible they keep them as pets. All I know is if that dog gets loose they’re cooked. If a lucid hound bites a werewolf they don’t just die instantly they suffer until they give out their last breath. That’s if there’s no antidote around, my father’s cousin was killed by a lucid dog.

Jebediah had found his way back without explanation, wearing a satisfied expression and carrying a small jar of something dark and preserved that he set down and did not offer to share. Emmett was halfway through a drumstick when he remembered. "You called me a bloodhound earlier," he said, looking at Lord Nikolai. "When I arrived. What did that mean?" Lord Nikolai and Jebediah exchanged a glance. It was brief, the kind of look that had a full conversation packed inside it. "You are a Bloodhound, Emmett," Lord Nikolai said, setting down his cup. "A warrior-breed, wolves engineered through bloodline and conditioning for war and annihilation. Highly perceptive, driven by an instinct for confli

Even through the thick glass, the force of her voice hit hard. The dog flinched, tail tucking immediately as it whimpered and backed away. Dogs are highly pack-oriented animals. They understand strength better than anything. Hayley's voice carried something primal, overwhelming, like a predator's roar echoing through the wild. The dog retreated behind the old man, cautious now, no longer daring to show its teeth. "Alright," the old man said, patting the dog gently before looking back at her. "Who sent you?" Hayley met his gaze without hesitation. "Ascendant Creed."
