Adrian Vale paused briefly on the massive screen overlooking the underground structure. Then slowly he smiled. “Remarkable.” Ava felt sick. Like everyone around her saw living creatures as experiments instead of people. Luca immediately raised his weapon toward L-001 despite barely standing himself. “Stay back.” The creature ignored him completely. Its damaged eye remained fixed entirely on Ava. “You left.” The broken words echoed through the stairwell. Not an accusation. Pain. Ava’s chest tightened so hard it hurt to breathe. “I thought you died.” L-001 tilted his massive head slowly.

Ava was almost feeling happy about the fact that Vador wasn't ashamed to hold her so close in public but was shocked when she heard him say"Besides we're bats now. Look there" "Ahh," Ava said seeing her reflection. She was a bat and so was Vador. "Better now,look again" "Better," Ava sighed. She was back to her normal self. On entering the gallery, Ava saw a sketched drawing of a dog,a vampire dog maybe,It looked delivish with horns. Taking a closer look at it,the dog blinked at her. "Seen anything you like?" Vador asked with his hands behind him. "More of something that I don't like,"Ava murmured"That dog just blinked at me,she pointed to the drawing.

The shark’s flat, grey-blue eye rolled over to look at Ava—a cold, indifferent assessment of meat that would, inevitably, fall into the water. On the other side of the one-way glass, inside the dry, climate-controlled observation deck, Landon Voss stood watching. He swirled a glass of vintage red wine, the crimson liquid catching the dim light of the control room. His gaze was fixed on the surveillance monitors that offered high-definition angles of the woman in the cage. His eyes traced the curve of her neck, the arch of her spine, devouring her image inch by inch.
