It stood tall, heavy breaths coming out from its mouth. “What am I watching?” I whispered, not taking my eyes off the video as the creature lunged at another human, splitting the head away from the body. “That’s a rogue werewolf, they're attacking the city. Everywhere is filled with chaos, and I barely managed to escape. The rogues have gone crazy, there's no one to caution them. We're wasting time here, Ava.” She cried, holding my arm. I snapped her hand away from me, stepping aside. “And what proof do you have that this is real? How do you expect me to believe this?”

A little girl carrying a stuffed rabbit with one missing ear. The receptionist greeted them gently. The little girl held her father’s hand tightly. The father looked exhausted. The mother looked frightened. The rabbit looked experienced. Adrian watched from across the room. Not intruding. Not interfering. Simply watching. The family disappeared down the hallway toward the counseling wing. The little girl looked back once. Then disappeared around the corner. He exhaled slowly. Ava appeared beside him. “You are doing it again.” “What?” “Watching people.” “I am observing patterns.”

“I’m nekkid here, Hollywood.” “I see that. What do you want me to do about it?” she purred. The dark screen morphed into a background of a cheap motel room. He watched Ava, fully clothed, crawling across the bed toward him. He tucked a wayward strand of hair behind her ear. His playfulness had vanished. His face was filled with such love, with such wonder, with such longing as he looked at Ava onscreen, that Chase’s stomach clenched watching it. “Chase?”

Maxwell POV For the past five minutes, I’ve been watching Ava intently as she whimpers and grimaces. And she doesn't know I have been seeing her for a long time. I know better than to snap her out of her trance. I’ve seen what it can do, and it’s not a pleasant experience. I have to let her ride it out–even if she didn’t want to dive into Laura’s mind in the first place. Her facial expressions twitch and change almost every second, her lips trembling with what looks like pure fear. My heart pounds in my throat as I wait. Patience is not my friend right now.

He quickly let go and whimpered seeing blood oozing out of her wrist. Quickly changing into his human form, Alpha Xavier jumped in the water and took out her body. He laid her on the ground and pressed on her chest. He tried again and again. Ava coughed out water and started coughing. Alpha Xavier sat her up and himself sat behind her. Her head was resting on his chest. Ava blinked when Alpha Xavier's tears fell on her face. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at him. Alpha Xavier smiled and Ava closed her eyes again.

I keep waiting for him to get distracted while hunting a human, but he doesn’t touch a single one of them. He does, however, watch intently as two wolves from opposite directions attack the same human, ripping him in two as they pass each other and prancing away delightedly, each with their own half of the trophy. I swallow my horror even as my stomach twists, turning my head to make sure Ava is equally as invested in the scene before I run off. Instead, I find that she’s staring at me dead on. As she lifts her paw and pushes me backward, I realize she was waiting for her mate to be distracted, too.

[GLITCH GliTcH GlItch] A quick headache zap across his mind. An ai robot voice claims a mission for the first in a long time since the system collapsed. Ava was alarmed. The coldness of her feet dangling in the air. Not a single person move and not a single breath can be heard as if they were frozen in time. The senior's unbalanced punch didn't get a chance to even tap on Akira's white complexion and Ava is not in the dearest's body. Her soul sprung out of the villainess's body so fast that she didn't catch the chance to load over the situation before a blue blinding screen appears in the cold air...

" She spoke with sincerity, her big, pleading eyes sparkling. I sighed inwardly. She was a great wingwoman for Arnold. Hana hesitated, and I smiled and said, "Go ahead. The new version of Avatar is excellent." "Let's go." Arnold didn't hesitate and grabbed Hana's hand. "You’re safe here. Don’t worry." Hana was led helplessly away by Arnold while Ava escorted them from behind. As I watched them leave, I fell into contemplation. It seemed that Hana’s story wasn't as simple as she claimed. She hadn’t told me the whole truth.

The next morning, the silence of The Watcher shattered. Not with a hum, not with a voice, but with a single, devastating image. Ava’s phone vibrated, then buzzed relentlessly. Notifications flooded her screen. Texts, calls, social media alerts. She stared at the screen, her heart hammering against her ribs. A new post from The Watcher. A photo. It was her. Lying on the clinic table, eyes squeezed shut, a look of profound anguish contorting her face.

After clean up. [IN THEIR ROOM] " Baby I'm downstairs, I need to watch ATLA " Crystal said buttoning up his chest . He looks up from his laptop " what's that" She sighs wondering if he lived under a rock " it's Avatar the last Airbender" Rylan grins " okay okay" She blows him a kiss and goes downstairs. Flopping on the couch, she switches the station and starts watching. After some minutes the doorbell rings " Is Rylan expecting any visitors" she mutters standing up and heads to the door.
