We stood there, watching our reception continue without us, both content to just exist in this moment.
"I can't believe we're actually married," I said.
"I can't believe you said yes. Twice."

"Good. Because I have notes."

Later, after the reception ended and guests departed, we drove to a hotel downtown. No honeymoon yet—we'd planned one for next month, after work settled.
