The Billionaire's Last Chance

The Billionaire's Last Chance

"What the hell are you doing here?" he asked me. I looked at him, the hate in his eyes as he was looking at me was just too much for me to take. "I am here to claim my rights, I am your wife and you are my hubsband. As a married couple, we should stay together under one roof," I said and watched as he scoffed. "You left me 5 years ago, and now you suddenly want your rights as my wife? That is not happening," he said and then walked toward the door. He opened the door for me, "Get out," he said and I smiled. I left 5 years ago and that was the biggest mistake of my life. I should have stayed and fought for my daughter's rights and mine. I should have stayed and fought for our relationship. "I am not going anywhere, you and I exchanged vows. Till death do us part, I will only leave this house in a casket. I am here to stay now," I said. Well, he doesn't need to know that me leaving in a casket might happen very soon. He can't know the truth, first I need to help him bond with our daughter. This is his last chance to realize his mistake and also my last chance to find out the truth. Why did someone frame me of having an affair? Why was he told that he can't father a child when he has a child with me? Who planned all of this?

They Laughed While I Was Dying

They Laughed While I Was Dying

Adrian Moretti’s adopted sister—She knew perfectly well that I suffered from severe asthma and could not be exposed to smoke or strong scents. Yet during the yacht reception, she deliberately dragged me onto the open deck, where cigars burned nonstop and the wind howled. Within seconds, my chest tightened. When I reached for my inhaler, my blood ran cold. It was empty. I collapsed against the railing, gasping violently, my lungs burning as if they were collapsing in on themselves. She crouched beside me and smiled. “You’re always so dramatic. It’s just a little smoke. You don’t need to act like you’re dying,” she said softly. “You’re too weak. You need to build some tolerance.” I looked toward Adrian, my vision already blurring. “Adrian,” I choked. “Give me my inhaler. If I don’t use it right now, I’m going to suffocate.” He frowned slightly. “Don’t you think you’re overreacting?” he said coldly. “I’ve never heard of anyone dying from a bit of smoke. She’s right—you’re always seeking attention. We finally gathered tonight, and you’re ruining it.” My heart dropped. I fumbled for my phone and called my mother. “Mom,” I sobbed, barely able to breathe. “I’m being bullied… and I can’t breathe.” My voice shook violently.

My body stiffens when I see the name on the consent form. "I'm Renee Becker's next of kin." It's Liam Cassidy who says that. The Shrewd King

The Shrewd King

*** COMPLETED *** ***This story has a lot of steamy scenes that are not suitable for minors.*** A hundred years after the war where werewolves lost against humans, Kaiya finds herself imprisoned in an island park where they are hunted on a weekly basis for human’s entertainment. However, when the ownership of the island park changes, she finds her mate, who is a newly crowned King. ************************************* “You are the first freed werewolf, does not mean that you will be the last.” “Is that why you freed me? To set an example?” “No. I freed you because you will be my woman.” My breathing stops. The way he puts a claim on me makes me want to claim him too. “I—” “Ah! Don’t worry about answering me now. I will give you time to consider me.” I look at the table and entwine my fingers together. I take a deep breath and look back at him. “I want that too,” I whisper. “I want to become your woman too.” I answer the surprise on his face by flushing scarlet. Then, he looks away and I can see a blush creeping on his face too. “So, starting now, we are together?” he asks. “Before that, we need to do a promise.” “A promise?” I take his hand to mine and say, “You are my mate, whom I promise to love and cherish forever, until the gods and fate separate us.” He squeezes my hand and answers, “You are my mate, whom I promise to love and cherish forever, even if the gods and fate may try to separate us.”

As I check, I see this is a new writer and it seems like it’s first book unless it’s on a different app. But as I read the intro, I noticed not grammar mistakes and the beginning is well explain so I’ll give it a try and see how good this author could be. As of now I will rate a 5 starts.

My husband, William Zafron, caught the madman on the spot and rushed us to his private hospital. In the hospital room, I woke up from the pain and tried to call for William. Then I overheard the doctor asking him, “Weren’t we just replacing the knee joint? Why did you hurt Ms. Nina and kill Ella?” “Nina only has a broken arm and some wounds. Her injuries aren’t fatal.” William replied, “Ella’s purpose was to be an organ carrier for Sophia’s daughter. Now that she has fulfilled her role, there’s no need for her to live. “After all... Sophia’s daughter is my own child.” That was when I realized that my daughter was just an organ carrier to him. What he did not know was that Sophia’s daughter was not even his.

awesome book! Brandy's character rocks she is smart funny strong, compassionate loving and vulnerable. One of the best female leads I've read. She has you laughing one minute and wanting to cry the next how she is treated. She deserves only the best. I bet Storm will give her that before it's over.
