He was about to touch all that creamy sensitive skin over my dead body. I gently pull the thin fabric back to where it was before he touched it. I even pat it down to stall from looking into Amber's eyes. I don't want her to fear me, but no wolf, whether low ranking or high ranking, would have tolerated what the doctor was about to do. Period. "If he weren't the reason you are still breathing, he would be missing an arm right now," I mutter, and the fear from earlier snaps right back into her crystal blues.

So, we don't have just werewolves, vampires, witches, etc. But there are more of us than humans. I stared back over at the doctor and Elijah; I could see the look on the doctor's face. The look on his face was pale, and I could see the worry and fright in his eyes. "Next time, you won't be so lucky," he said in his face, and he dropped the doctor to the ground. I looked down and saw the doctor holding his neck, trying to breathe. I can see his face red, and l can see the scared look on his face. I didn't realize I was staring at the doctor.

The doctor’s eyes bulge with terror as he claws uselessly at Zane’s grip. I follow suit, my shift slightly slower but no less driven by rage. The second doctor scrambles for something on a nearby tray: a syringe filled with clear liquid that can only be wolfsbane. I lunge forward, knock the syringe away, and slam him against the opposite wall, my hand wrapped around his throat just as Zane holds the other. “Where is she?” Zane growls, his voice barely human, silver eyes blazing with murderous intent. “P-please,” the doctor in his grip chokes out. “I’m just f-following orders.”

A quiet fear gnawed at her, heavy and unshakable. The driver brought the doctor in, then turned to leave. At the door, he gave the man a final warning. “Just change the dressings and get out. Don’t say anything extra. If you do, you won’t even know how you died.” Once the door closed, the fear on the doctor’s face disappeared. Calm and professional, he carefully removed the bandages from Sarah’s wrists and ankles. The worst wound had already begun to scab over—healing, finally.

{The Doctor's POV} The gun was pointed directly at my head. My body was present in the room, but my mind had long drifted into the void of fear. Paralysis took over me—my hands trembled, my lips quivered, and my legs shook uncontrollably. I was no longer thinking straight. Panic had swallowed every ounce of logic I had left. Still, somehow, amidst the chaos in my head, I found the strength to speak. “My Luna… I’m telling you the truth. I don’t know anything about the Keloid Scarring X, and I swear on my life—I wasn’t sent to ruin your mother’s face...”

Wyrmherst’s soul. Buzz... All of a sudden, Dr. Wyrmherst felt as though his brain was about to explode. He let out a loud shriek and spat out a mouthful of blood. Colton was shocked. “Dr. Wyrmherst, how did it go? What happened?” In the next moment, Colton and his wife were shocked by what they were witnessing. Dr. Wyrmherst was actually mumbling to himself. “Fairy Doctor, Fairy Doctor, I love Fairy Doctor…”

The doctor announced while retreating, like it was something visible that could capture her. Freya and Oroson exchanged surprised glances, their fear returning as tears welled up in Freya’s eyes. Wolfsbane? How? “Wolfsbane?” Orson inquired, refusing to believe and wanting to clarify what he’d heard. “Is that what’s inside the bottle?” The doctor nodded, affirming their fears as Freya ran her palms over her face tiredly. Cold dread washed over the air and found a way to seep into their skin.

As it was, there were already telltale signs. "Every day at 4:00 pm!" Sebastian frowned slightly. Dexter did have a very strange condition. "Maeve, you and Harold don't need to worry about Uncle Dexter's condition. I've already asked Jovenshire's most famous doctor, Percy Wolham, to come. I'm sure he can cure Uncle Dexter," Callum said, looking triumphantly at Harold and Maeve. The old man sitting beside Callum looked contemptuously at Sebastian. How could such a young doctor be capable of anything?

I have no idea what it is, but there's something about him that makes me so fucking scared. I lift my gaze back up to him when he takes a seat opposite me, with the woman taking her seat beside him. "We will like to inform you, doctor Zion, that a very ugly incident happened within our vicinity days ago, which doctor Corey is just bringing to our knowledge by the way, " Mother-fucking sick bastard! All eyes move to me at doctor Philip's words, and I straighten up in my seat, swallowing down my fear, and meeting Zion square in the eye.
