The Exiled Luna

The Exiled Luna

I didn’t stop until I stood in that chamber again. The place where they told me I was a threat. Where they lied. Where they watched me burn and said nothing. The door opened before I could knock. And there stood **Headmistress Calista**. Her eyes, sharp and ageless, flicked from me to Lira and Kael. She didn’t flinch. “I wondered how long it would take you,” she said. “I’m not here to be polite,” I replied. “Good,” she said, stepping aside. “Then let’s get to it.”

A Queen Among Tides

A Queen Among Tides

I hear a familiar voice call. I look over as the Headmistress of Atlesper Academy walks over to me with her bright smile. “Headmistress Logo,” I smile, extending my hands to her. She takes my hands as we kiss each other on the cheeks, “You’re punctual as always,” she smiles. “I couldn’t keep my favourite Headmistress waiting, wouldn’t want to risk getting detention,” I wink. She chuckles, “You had plenty of those during your time here.”

Brooke Pilawa
Another amazing book! I feel as though each book is my favorite in this series and I love the representation. This particular author has an amazing way of challenging vernacular and using it to empower her characters. Her world building has you vested in the outcome of the story and characters.

Another excellent book! I couldn't put it down that I finished reading it in a day. anxiously waiting for book 6 to finish--not a fan of cliffhangers:) Or I may go back and re-read the series while I wait.

His Mistress

His Mistress

she quickly responded remembering the look on Priscilla’s face when she told her to make sure it continues. “Are you stupid Sarah!! This is all over!!” he said and angrily got from his chair to leave the work leaving Sarah all alone there and confused. She drove herself to Mathew’s office for she had talked to one of her brothers who arranged a meeting for her. She wore some dark glasses and a big black hat that covered her face one couldn’t tell it was the governor’s wife who had come to see Mathew who was also vying for that position, she had to be very careful.

The Mafia's Daughter

The Mafia's Daughter

"Yes, I whispered back. He moved his eyes forward for me to look at something or in this case someone. And there she was, the Headmistress of the school. The headmistress is a vision of elegance and refinement, her petite frame belied by a commanding presence that demands respect. Her short, dark hair is styled with precision, framing her heart-shaped face and accentuating her piercing brown eyes. Those eyes, warm and wise, sparkle with a sharp intelligence, missing nothing as they survey her domain. Her features are finely chiseled, with high cheekbones and a small, pointed chin. Her lips, painted a subtle shade of pink, curve into a gentle smile, putting even the most nervous of students a

A Rogue For The Alpha Twins

A Rogue For The Alpha Twins

I mean based on my own experience, most headmistresses are old women or at least forty something years old. This woman here looks as if she is not up to thirty years old. “Miss Roman?”. The woman called out but I didn’t hear her because I was still in shock. “Miss Roman!”. She called out again this time louder than before. I snapped out of my trance and sheepishly smiled at her. “Good morning Mam.” I greeted her almost immediately. “Morning Miss Sophia. There is no need to call me Mam, it makes me feel as if I am older than this. You can call me Felicia.” Said the headmistress.

Teach me to sin II (Sins of the past)

the Headmistress said. I obeyed silently, lowering myself into the seat opposite them. My throat suddenly felt dry. “Do you know why you’re here?” The headmistress asked, folding her hands neatly over a file. I shook my head. “No, ma’am.” “Then you’re about to find out,” the woman said, her gaze sharp as a blade. She turned slightly toward Bree. “Miss Garfield. Repeat what you said before Miss Perkins arrived.” Bree’s lips trembled. She took a shaky breath, then spoke, her voice barely a whisper.

Love's incandescence

Love's incandescence

The large room was equally shady, she could make out the headmistress's broad hat, which was no easy task, seeing as her black apparel blended well with the darkness. She could tell when the headmistress lifted her head, her pale eyes holding her in place as she walked over to the wide desk which had become so familiar to her over the years. She stood before the headmistress waiting to be told to sit, Allegra eventually waved over to the chair in front of the desk and stood. Taking her seat, Dea watched as the headmistress paced slowly. An intimidation technique she was sure. Coming to a halt and looming over Dea, her curt voice the only sound in the stiff room.

The White Rose Of Damnation

The White Rose Of Damnation

Damian's words echoed in her mind: she had to find out what was happening to her-before someone else did. The door to the room opened quietly, and a familiar figure stepped inside. Headmistress Beatrice Morris entered with the same cold dignity as when Skylar had first seen her by the dock. Her black uniform was flawlessly tailored, and her gaze was sharp and unreadable. "I see you're finally awake," she said softly, though her voice carried unmistakable authority. "I hope you've taken some time to reflect on what happened." Skylar sat up in bed, trying to straighten her posture, but the movement pulled at her side, and she winced despite herself. The Headmistress seemed to ignore it and sat

Her Blood

"And who is that?" She was about to answer when I heard Shantelle's voice causing me to close my eyes because of the shrillness of her voice. "Gabria! Why did you leave us outside? You waited—” she stopped when she saw Headmistress… Chantria Everleigh. Nice name. “Good morning, Headmistress!” they both said at the same time bowed. Bowing is still required? I was not informed. "Good morning. Are you two going to enroll too?” the Headmistress asked with a smile.

The Billionaire Legacy

The Billionaire Legacy

"Welcome to Riverside Academy. Mrs. Henderson is expecting you." Mrs. Henderson was the headmistress who we had met during our tour of the school last week. She was a woman in her fifties with kind eyes behind wire rimmed glasses. Her office was neat with bookshelves lining the walls along with photos of students engaged in various activities. She stood up when we entered while extending her hand to shake first mine then John's. "Mr. and Mrs. McQueen," she said warmly. "And this must be Peter. How are you feeling about your first day?"
