Xithara's POV I had been imprisoned for a week and during this time, I had been put through hell. The guard would come to whip and torture me everyday. Keith did the worst thing possible, he decided I didn't deserve to have a wolf so he took her away. They performed a ritual on me that not only hurt like hell but took away my wolf permanently so I wouldn't be able to rebel against their torture since I had been trained in combat.

I retrieved it and found a secluded spot to continue reading. The book described the white wolves as the first werewolves created by the moon goddess. They had extraordinary abilities to heal, control the earth, and communicate directly with the moon goddess. However, their powers made them targets of jealousy and greed. Our ancestors, driven by their desire for power, had waged war against the white wolves, ultimately leading to their near extinction.

I woke up in the middle of the night. The room was pitch black except for the faint blue glow of the flame lamp on the wall. Lily had fallen asleep, slumped against the edge of my bed. Her lashes were still wet with tears, her face tired but unyielding. I stayed perfectly still, careful not to wake her, but my thoughts kept spinning. Everything that had happened lately played over and over in my mind. Clearly, werewolves were way too tough, so killing them was next to impossible. If I wanted to get back to the human world, ordinary suicide methods wouldn't cut it.

I nodded and took Jacen's hands to see his Ring which I didn't notice before. " Iam didn't finish you, stupid " she called me harshly. I should have not turned but for that, she's calling me stupid. " Andrian Johnwolf is the first werewolf. He's an alpha. He's been living for 8000 years and like I said he's powerful among other werewolves. The next is Victoria hale and Peter Hale who is the female witch and male witch. I just wanted to tell you cause you need to know the council members."

He found it hilarious that I was into werewolf romance novels. “So you have a thing for hot werewolf alphas?” He chuckled. “You know some of those stories are stupid, don’t you? Especially that one. What’s it called? Yeah, The Alpha’s Destiny. Werewolves don’t have powers nor do they live until they’re ten thousand. That author must be on some crack.” He shook his head. “Well, it’s better than the zombie comics you have stashed under your bed,” I retorted. “If you don’t stop making fun of my reading materials, I will show Valko your nerd stash,” I warned.
