The ground shook when he landed, a massive silver-white Alpha wolf, eyes blazing, presence crushing.

Kyle's eyes met mine, and I noticed that his eyes were filled with desperation as he implored me to help him in his time of need. "Keith, you are the only one who can help me now," Kyle pleaded, his voice tinged with anxiety as he mindlinked me. My eyes widened in shock as I wondered how he was able to mind link me when he is not a werewolf and he doesn’t belong in my pack either.

Kyle sat on the edge of the wooden chair, leaning toward Jesse with an expression that was both fierce and incredibly tender. "Jesse, look at me," Kyle began, his amber eyes glowing with a low, steady light. "I’m not a stalker, and I’m not a monster. I’m a wolf shifter. The Medina River Pack is my family—it’s my people. I’m the son and heir of the Alpha, the leader of the pack." Jesse stared at him, then turned her eyes toward Jackie. "He’s... he’s insane, right? Jackie, tell me he’s joking."

I began to drive. I needed to go to a place where I would calm down and laugh or something that does not have to do with work or Stephen.
