I furrowed my brows, still weirded out by the sudden question. “Well, it is mostly for hunting like aconitum, artemisia, lupine-” “Lupine,” she replied in an instant. “How is that supposed to be the answer?” Both Alarick and I asked. “Lupine is poisonous to werewolves. Once a hunter puts some of it in his spear and you get wounded by it.” I nodded at what she said. That is what I do all the time. “But it can prevent you from turning into a werewolf when it is directly ingested.” My eyes widened at what she said.

Tonight is the night. I've added a mixture of belladonna, wolfsbane, arrowroot, and hibiscus, all of which are poisonous to us werewolves in varying degrees of potency. But together, in low quantities like this, they will cause a combination of drowsiness and an upset stomach. Most significantly, the wolfsbane will render a werewolf dormant for twenty-four hours.
