The rogue scrambled to get up, but the larger wolf was relentless, delivering a crushing blow that sent the rogue skidding backward. The rogue’s growls turned into whimpers, its body trembling in fear as it attempted to retreat. The moon was full and shining brightly down on the rooftop of the many trees and bushes of the dark forest, which was currently the playground of two happy wolves, as Brutus was playfully chasing his beautiful little mate Lilah. Brutus followed Lilah's delicious scent through the trees as his heat settled in more and more, the urge to just jump on his LIlah and mark her here and now driving him forwards, but he held ground and just continued their playing catch, feeling that this was something Lilah needed as a newly shifted wolf.
