West With Giraffes Audiobook Novels & Stories

he teased, tickling her side. I couldn’t help but laugh. “He means it’s an island off the coast of Africa.” Aspen’s eyes widened. “Is that where giraffes live?” Alec and I exchanged a glance before he said, “Close enough.” Alec then lifted her up and put her on his shoulder so that she could have a better view of all the animals. Her eyes were wide with excitement. She pressed herself forward on Alec’s shoulders, peering over the fences and into each exhibit like she was hunting for treasure.

Lincoln hadn't said a word since they got there, his expression was calm as the breeze blew his hair to the back. Birds chirping and howling sounds echoed as they passed by the woods, West was a bit cold as she rubbed her palms together. "Can you just tell me already?? My legs are about to pass out from the walking" West complained and this time, Lincoln turned to face her. "Okay, Then I'll have to carry you on my back, that should be what you humans call Piggyback, I think so" Lincoln responded and that was when West realized that she couldn't see his facial expression clearly as it was dark in there.

Jason, ever the curious one, pressed his face against the glass of the reptile house, his breath fogging up the surface as he stared at a massive green anaconda, “Whoa, look at this snake. Daddy do you think it could eat a whole deer in one bite?” Jeff crouched beside him, his face lighting up with amusement, “Probably buddy but I don’t think it would say no to a second course if it were still hungry.” Jason’s eyes widened, “So it’s like the big bad wolf of snakes?” “Exactly.” Jeff said, chuckling as he ruffled Jason’s hair. Meanwhile, Anna was fascinated with the giraffes, her face glowing with wonder as she watched the towering creatures lean down to nibble on leaves from a feeding platfor

Aria's POV The air in the lair was thick with tension, a palpable weight that hung between the wolves like the mist that curled around the ancient trees at dawn. West’s voice, deep and resonant, echoed through the lair, his words carrying the weight of a decision that would shape the fate of the pack. “A week from today, we will be going out to discover which pack is working with the Crescent pack to take us down,” he said, his eyes scanning the gathered wolves with a gaze that was both commanding and unyielding. “I’ll personally go across to those that will be going on the search,” he continued, his voice low and steady, “and I won’t be stopping anyone who is ready to follow me.”

The sun had gone down when Saffy drove towards Jack's house, and she was interested to see inside the beautiful home. She hadn't thought about Jack for a few days, she had been so busy getting to know her Granny and practising her spells, but she had looked on the bookshelves and found an old book concerning werewolves. It was a bit odd to read as the words kept disappearing, but Granny said to tell the book off - which Saffy thought would be neither use nor ornament, but then her world had turned into entirely crazy, so reprimanding a book seemed neither here nor there.

My eyes fell over her list and saw Liam was the very last one. My damn curiosity got the better of me. Vance and Christian had managed to win me over with the five minutes they’d been given, what would a full date with them be like? I’d also passed along two other shifters: a zebra and an elephant. The zebra had a heavy South African accent that was utterly delicious to listen to … zeh-brah. The elephant had made me laugh. Though I couldn’t even remember now about what. Hmm, yes something about his trunk…

I whispered. “West, they have the elements!” Based on the book they are the wolf gifted to have the power of elements. They are mean to protect our race someday. “Isn’t it cool dad?” They seem to love the idea but it worries me. What if they face a great danger someday? I can’t watch them suffer. “Yeah,” West and I look at each other. “Good morning,” We saw their teacher. “Hello, teacher!” They both greeted their teacher and were seated in their respective chairs already.

Kaya's face fell. I looked at her, and she read my lips as I said, "In the spring, we will get a bear, okay." She nodded. Len added. "We will get one before we head home, okay." She signed, "Okay." I looked at Robert. "So tell me, was it what you thought it would be?" "Alpha, it was better. I felt close to the earth, and it is hard to explain when I ate. It was like I was wild and the awesome howling, too." Mark quipped. "That would explain what we heard earlier." We had heard wolves howling earlier in the day; that was the five of them. Dinner went by fast. George told jokes, and everyone was laughing. It was nice to just be and not have to worry about anything.

I bought our tickets and grabbed a map. "Let's go see the giraffes!" I chuckled and directed her toward their enclosure. Passing the elephants, alligators, and monkeys on the way. After seeing the giraffes, we began following a tour guide. She was wearing a green khaki uniform with her last night written on her chest. "Here we have the otters! Did you know that when otters sleep they wrapped themselves around each other and float on top of the water! We call that a raft!" She continued on about facts and such while others ogled over them.

“Deadly snakes, poisonous plants, water that’s not safe to drink, raging rivers, and worst of all, native rogues.” When he says those last two words, Ginny’s forehead crinkles, and she turns to look at him. “Native rogues?” she repeats in her thick accent. “I don’t know how to say it.” “Wolves that have lived in these parts for thousands of years,” Sanders tells her. “They still think those lands out west are theirs, even though the humans are tellin’ ‘em otherwise.”
