CALL GIRL #1

CALL GIRL #1

he added on a mutter. I grinned. “You sounded like an Spanish when you said that.” “Said what? Museo Nacional del Prado?” “Yep. Oh, wait. Let me guess—you speak Spanish as well as French?” He buttoned his jacket and looked at me with sparkling eyes. “Si.” “Of course you speak the two most romantic languages in the world.” I rolled my eyes. His deep laugh comforted me and he walked to the bed. He bent down, placing his lips near my ear. “A language is only romantic if you believe in romance itself,” he whispered. “And I do.”

Black as the Forest (All the Hounds of Hell #1)

“Danny is right, you should write a column. This is probably the best counselling I’ve ever had.” She beamed. “I think the first you would use would be languages.” “I think so too.” “What are the most used languages of those you work with, other than English?” she asked. “French, Spanish, German and Russian would fight for top position. Then maybe Mandarin, Arabic, Hindi, Russian. A few more, but rarer.”

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

Hidden Legacy (The Lost Luna)

As my story has developed, I have added in a Fae language. Since the story lines follow ancient Greek gods and goddesses, I have used ancient Greek for the Fae language and Latin for witch's spells. I might as well put all those high school Latin lessons to use. Truth be told, I love languages, especially my own native language, Māori. I did think of adding that into the story line as the Fae language, but I didn't think it fitted as well as Ancient Greek.

Man's Best Wingman

“Not one of the languages I’m fluent in.” “Oh, and what languages are you fluent in? And how many cousins do you have?” She arched her brow. “English, Greek, Russian, Portuguese, and profanity.” I smiled as she rolled her eyes. “You are such a dumbass. But it is cool that you know Greek, Russian, and Portuguese. They aren’t prevalent for most American kids to learn. Most schools give you the option of French or Spanish. What school let you learn Greek, Russian, and Portuguese?” Xenia asked, taking a cue from my bare feet to slip off her shoes before wandering further into the apartment.

This is just the cutest story! It’s not your typical romance novel but that’s the magic of it! It’s cute, sincere, and honest. I could see this actually being someone’s real story of how they met their person and love it. Plus the dogs point of view are simply the best! This is a must read!

Cursed Together With Mr. Vampire; I need to drink his blood!

Triana said. "From a few lines of text, you can only interpret a few words?" Vlador asked, raising an eyebrow. Triana cleared her throat and nodded. "Like I said earlier, I only studied witchcraft very little and did it secretly. The witch language is one of the hardest languages in the world. It's even written from bottom to top."

My Alpha Mate Rejected my Divine Pregnancy

My Alpha Mate Rejected my Divine Pregnancy

It is the language of the wolf. My eyes widened. “Myrathi…” I repeated, almost reverently, like tasting the word on my tongue. “The old wolf tongue, that's our language.” Marcus nodded, a faint smile tugging at his mouth. “I didn’t know what it meant at first. But I’m a stubborn person. So I got all the books I could find on wolves and I started digging, and when I started I couldn’t stop. I bought books, scrolls, anything I could find online or in dusty little shops. At first, it was just symbols and gibberish. I thought I was wasting my time. But then… somehow… I started picking it up faster than I should have. Words started making sense. Sentences formed.” He looked down at his hands, alm

One of them chirped, “Miss Carraway, I recognized the language you used at the beginning of the conversation and the Gallic. But what were you speaking between those two?” “Catalan,” she replied. Detecting dismay in the boy’s face, she added encouragingly, “I’m sure you could’ve grabbed the gist of it if you listened very carefully too. They are all cognate languages. Most of the differences lie in pronunciation and grammar. Don’t let your nerves get to you next time.”

Twisted Fates

The sooner he found those books, the sooner he could leave that place. **** Archer left the library and found Ryan waiting by the door. He began walking away with Ryan closely behind him. "Did you find it?" Ryan asked immediately. "Yes, but it is written in ancient werewolf language. The only ones who can understand this language are wolves who were born before the blood moon era," Archer responded. "There is only one Wolf I know who is that old, but she gave up on wolves a long time ago," Ryan informed as Archer paused in front of his room.

Love Without Time Limits (AC2)

"My parents have a security camera at the front door. They might connect the pieces together in a couple of months but they will still not know who we were or how we disappeared." "It's time to go home. I'll need to learn English if we settle anywhere near your time." "Awww... you are going to do that?" I pinched his cheek. "Unless you want me to play the role of a dumb person." "No! That 'yes, please' you said was so hot you know." "Shut up!" "You are a super-fast learner. And Latin didn't really die as they say. The high Latin did almost die, but the spoken form evolved into the romance languages that are spoken even today."

This book is my kind of escape. The sequence of events and lifestyle are surprisingly accurate, the story is interesting at the same time with something new coming up every chapter. I definitely encourage well thought out books like this. Keep up the good work!
