"The Chronal Horizon," Klaus whispered, his eyes reflecting the erratic, flickering glow of the rift. "A localized pocket of non-linear time. Look closely, Ethan. What do you see?"
Ethan walked to the edge of the catwalk, gripping the cold steel railing. He stared into the swirling vortex of light. At first, it was just a blinding blur. But as his eyes adjusted, the chaotic patterns began to form shapes, like a film projector running multiple movies on the same screen.
