FATE

FATE

The exhaustion from the day's troubles was too much for his hypoglycemic system. Jason fiddled away with the envelope which slipped off his quivering hands. Losing his balance, Jason dropped to the marble floor with a loud thud, and everything blacked out. *** Song: Anna of the north (Lovers) 💔💔 You told me I would never see you walk away. Said you'd never break my heart Never leave me in the dark I guess there are just some promises we shouldn't make Shoulda knew from the start I'm in the dark Show a little loving

Pact of Blood

Pact of Blood

Laura stood at the perimeter of the ghost-filled square, her hands held aloft. She had been silent since they arrived, her eyes fixed not on the monsters but on the air between them. To her, the abyss looked different. She didn't see just darkness; she saw a chaotic, fraying tapestry of golden filaments. They were everywhere, pulsing with a faint, rhythmic heartbeat. As she concentrated, the filaments began to weave around her fingers. They were the strands of Fate—the very blueprints of existence that the Architects had spent eons trying to sever and harvest.

Lunation of Fate

Lunation of Fate

“Yes. A lunation is the cycle of the moon, starting at a new moon phase and ending at a new moon phase. Haha, somehow these fellas know how to hunt during those times. Cool instinct, huh?” “Hunt? As in kill?!” Chastine was suddenly alarmed at what Juste had said. “Ahahaha, no—wait, I think they’re starting their dance…” Hunt? Dance? Juste’s choice of words was getting more and more strange to Chastine. Then, suddenly, a tiny spark landed on Chastine’s arm. She looked closely at that spark, and it turned out to be a living creature. Chastine’s eyes widened in awe.

Fate Within Time

Fate Within Time

I say and snuggle into Danes side feeling the warmth of his body on mine. "It's one of my favorite hiding spots. If you can't find me, check there first." He says in thought. It reminds me that I don't really know too much about Ant's life. I know what he shows us and allows us to know. But anything deeper is more of a mystery.

The Vampire King’s Bride (A Vampire Cinderella bonus Series)

Enough of her , let's discuss more about the fates. Aurora already knew about the fates and she knows they exist because she had a confirmation about their existence in her dreams, at first all she heard were stories about them while she was travelling around. Once she even tried to find a way to seek for their assistance to find her origin but then she got to learn you can't really seek them out. They're literally the creatures who spin the threads of human destiny. Their names are Clotho (Spinner), Lachesis (Allotter), and Atropos (Inflexible).

Alpha Alden

Alpha Alden

I would expect a more decrepit place for an immortal like time. Although this place is creepy. When I turn around, there is nothing. Just a large expanse of swamp like grounds. A thick mist tangles around the weeds, blurring out the horizon. This is just a lone estate in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for someone like Time. Nowhere for his victims to run… “You know,” Fate says blandly, pulling attention back to him. I’ve just noticed how our voices almost seem to echo. “This place isn’t in the immortal or mortal lands.”

Fated

Fated

I shooed her away, assuring her that I did know how to work them and sat at the one located farthest from the door. She had said before that Aro had put a lot of work into cataloguing various information about our kind, from our laws to our myths. I began quickly typing any buzz words I could think of that might retrieve documents related to fated mates. I searched for what felt like hours, becoming increasingly frustrated that nothing I entered brought up anything useful about breaking our bond. I decided I would try one last link under my current search term, 'broken bond', and was stunned at what was on the screen before me.

at first the information on the blurb was kind of overwhelming and read like there were lots of details included but the writing and premise make this a fun, interesting read. lots of supernatural elements in the mix and great world-building. good job, author

You have done a wonderful job creating and writing this story! I have to say it's one of the only one's that i so desperately want to keep reading. I'm only at chapter 8 but will definitely resume reading once I have coins. Keep up the great work!!!!

False Fates

False Fates

She turned to walk away, leaving the tray with Lisa. All night, his eyes followed her. But Aurora never gave him more than a glance. She wasn't here to be anyone's toy. Aurora didn't tremble when she stepped out of that room—but her hands remembered. They buzzed with something unspoken, something she didn't want to name. Not fear, not quite. Not desire, either. It was more like being caught in the gaze of a predator too refined to bare his teeth. She returned to the bar, eyes forward, jaw set. Lisa followed behind her with an unreadable expression.

Frequently Asked Questions

The finale of 'What Lurks Between the Fates' is a masterclass in tension and revelation. The protagonist, after unraveling a web of deceit, confronts the true antagonist—not a person, but a sentient void between realities. This entity feeds on unresolved fates, and the climax sees the hero sacrificing their own destiny to seal it away.

The final pages are hauntingly poetic. The world resets, memories blur, and the protagonist becomes a wanderer, forever caught between existence and oblivion. Side characters find closure in subtle ways—a former rival plants a tree where the void once lurked, symbolizing growth from chaos. The ending doesn’t tie everything neatly; it lingers like a shadow, making you question if the void ever truly left.
