He scoffed, pressed his wheelchair and rolled forward. “You sure are pathetic,” he said when he reached me.

I MET YOU

I MET YOU

It might help if I get lost…or accidentally set the apartment on fire,” I teased, getting a hint of a smile that he buried by denying. "Or you'll probably starve the poor animal to death," he returned the joke, narrowing his gaze, making the lines of expression visible at the corners of his eyes. Since the incident in my bathroom we acquired the ability to joke when it came to Alzheimer's. Black jokes made the situation less overwhelming. He was the first person he could joke with like this. My friends didn't like it when he said things like that and found it cruel; what they didn't understand was that at the end of the day the one who would live in limbo would be me, and taking it so seriou

Can't Win Me Back

Can't Win Me Back

Her racing heart sank in disappointment. The view before her eyes was a snowy white scene as serene as a painting. Justin was wearing a black woolen coat as he sat in his wheelchair, maneuvering it around the children. He smiled from ear to ear while playing soccer with the kids. Despite his physical limitations, he was really agile. Not only was there no sign of clumsiness, but he even appeared to have a hint of youthful vigor and recklessness. "Watch out, sir!" The ground was slippery due to the snow. Noticing that Justin's wheelchair was a little unstable, a young boy rushed up to him to stabilize his wheelchair.

The book is great. But the length & the saga are ridiculous not to mention you only provide 2 chapter updates through the week. We the readers love this book but 1900 pages and we’ve had 1 happy ending. We’re ready for this to be over stop dragging it out for the money! 1st & last book I buy/read.

A Joke That Went Too Far

A Joke That Went Too Far

I kicked the chair next to me hard enough to send it sideways. "Joking around? Then why don't you put your own names and numbers out there and sell yourselves?" I looked them dead-on, one at a time. "Cut the chatter. We're going to the dean's office. Or I'm calling the police." The air fell silent for a few seconds–then they burst out laughing. Tara lifted her chin and tossed her hair. "Even if you take it to my dad, what is he going to do, Sophie? Really?"

HEART OF A TRUE LUNA

HEART OF A TRUE LUNA

I didn’t wait for any response as I rolled my chair toward the door and opened it. I proceeded directly to the entrance, but I could already hear laughter even before I could reach it. A pang of pain suddenly hit my chest. Lately, I have always been cast out on funny things and conversations. People seemed to believe that my wheelchair-induced misery disqualified me from any happiness or jokes. “What’s funny?” I asked in a loud voice as I approached them. Aside from Arlo and a female that I assume was Mindy, Drake and Dustin, my twin cousins, were also there.

Mated To The Alpha King

Mated To The Alpha King

“if I'm going to be moving around, I need something to help me, and even wheelchair’ is my best option.” “No.” His answer was firm. “You will not be getting a wheelchair. You don't need it, end of discussion.” “But I do.” A small frown made its way to my lips. “I'm going g to have to move around and…” “No, you won't.” He shook his head. “You don't need a wheelchair because you're not going anywhere. I won't let you. If you do need anything else, entirely different from what you just asked, I'm all ears.””

I said flatly. His grin stretched wider. “I’ll save you a seat.” Without warning, he grabbed the back of the wheelchair and shoved. The hallway blurred. I saw the stairs ahead and for one wild second, I thought he was going to do it. Wheel me right over the edge. But he stopped just short. My front wheels teetered dangerously over the top step. Then he burst out laughing. “What’s the matter?” he mocked. “Thought I’d actually do it?” I stared up at him, my voice calm. “No. You’ve always been a coward. I didn’t expect anything more.”

I Got Married For Revenge

“Oh? Do you need help?” I smirked. “I can manage.” Gripping the armrest, I maneuvered my wheelchair slightly before pushing myself toward the aisle. Private jets, especially their restrooms, weren't exactly designed for people with disabilities like mine. Or rather, for a disability I was only pretending to have. But I’d long mastered the art of adjusting. With practiced ease, I made my way to the restroom and shut the door behind me. Taking a deep breath, I answered the call. Static crackled in my ear before a distorted, mechanical voice spoke.

Gosh! My Silly Husband Is a Rich Boss

Gosh! My Silly Husband Is a Rich Boss

Maxwell said in a disgusted tone as he quickly placed him in his wheelchair. “You need to do more upper body strength training. You can’t let Juliette help whenever you want to go to the toilet, right?” Maxwell said cuttingly. “You’re right. I’ll start doing some exercise today after going back.” Zachary was humbled after Maxwell helped him back into the wheelchair. After Zachary sat down in his wheelchair, he pressed a button. The wheelchair then folded back into its regular shape. Both were about to make their way out of the cubicle when they turned around and saw someone staring at them in a daze outside the toilet.
