A snarl ripped his chest as he shattered the glass with his elbow. I let out a shrill cry and hurriedly backed away as he smashed the glass and entered my room. Since he was wearing a loose black hoodie and matching slacks with boots, complete with a face mask, it was impossible for me to recognize who he was. The only thing visible were his eyes behind the black mask that briefly flickered gold. “I am going to kill you, bitch!” his voice came out warbled, like he was using some sound filter. He trudged forward, taking one cautious step at a time as he studied my movement. “You’ve ruined everything.”
