Their presence was no longer detectable as if they had vanished into the air itself. "You bastard," Damon shouted as he charged for Apollo. His hand was formed into a fist as he aimed for him. Apollo didn't even bother to defend himself. He didn't even flinch when Damon's fist connected with the side of his face.

Not to be taken lightly.” I smiled through the tears.

I gritted out. She regarded me for a while, then shrugged. “Did you think it's that easy to destroy?” I lifted a brow. “What do you mean?” “I may agree to break it, but will it?” She read the confusion in my eyes and smirked. “I'm afraid that there's nothing we can do about it. The destruction of our vows is impossible. We did not just take an ordinary oath, dear. We took a dark oath, and it can't be broken. It's for eternity. Whether we both consent to it or not, there's no way out.”
