He remembered his parents, his friends, and the adventures they had gone on together. But there was something else, something darker lurking in the corners of his mind. He couldn't quite put his finger on what it was, but he knew that it was important. One night, as Jack lay in bed, he had a dream. In the dream, he was walking through a dense forest, his heart pounding with fear. He felt like something was chasing him, something dark and powerful. As he stumbled through the underbrush, he came to a clearing. In the center of the clearing stood a stone altar, and on the altar was a book. The book was bound in black leather, and its pages were filled with strange, arcane symbols.

Emily’s POV After wrapping up training, I spent the better part of an hour wandering around, looking for Jack. He wasn’t in his room or anywhere near the council chambers. Frustrated, I finally asked one of the guards, who pointed me toward the pack’s archive. I found Jack in one of the back corners, sitting at a wooden desk with a few old books spread out in front of him. “What are you doing here?” I asked, stepping closer. He looked up, his hazel eyes softening at the sight of me.

“I am going to take you up to my room, Ryan is going to go on the balcony with a rifle and keep look out. I will stay with you in the room with the door locked, ok?” I nodded my head while burying my face in his chest, all I could think of was how did he find me. Jack said no one knew about this place, so how did he find me. Did he follow us? Jack sat me on his bed as he opened a hidden wall filled with guns. I looked at in in shock as Ryan grabbed a gun and went onto the deck. He closed the door behind him leaving me alone with Jack.

Jack flustered and started studying his book. After college, Jack saw, Rohan was talking to Elena and Drake. He didn't try to talk to her and walked towards his home. He thought to talk to her on phone. He reached home, got his dress changed and freshen up. He dragged a chair in the balcony and sat there for studying. After few minutes, his phone started ringing. He saw it was Jenny's call. " Hello!" Jack said., " It's good that you called me otherwise, i was going to call you. "

Alice was slowly speaking when Jack immediately interrupted her. "So you want to leave?" Jack asked with a disappointed and concerned look. "I can make another cup of coffee for you, if that is what it takes for your boredom to go away?" He was quick with his words Alice was touched hearing him. "No, I am not leaving," she said more like assured him. "Oh," Jack looked calmer hearing her. "Then?" he asked in a low voice. "So... I wanted to ask you whether you have any books that I can read. You are not letting me touch these files, so a book would be nice for me."

There was quite a lot of them to read. She would go back to her room, retire for the night and get up bright and early tomorrow. Jake poked his head into Jack’s study wearing a casual shirt and jeans. “I’m off to get some drinks with the guys. I’ll see you later” Jack waved an absent dismissing hand in reply. “How about you come out with me for this one night, huh? Just a drink” Jake asked him Jack looked up from the documents he had been reading with a frown on his face.

In my heart, I wish I could help them. When I reached Jake’s house, nobody answered the door, so I used the spare key he gave me last week. I walked inside and noticed that the living room was empty. Puzzled, I called his name, but there was no answer. Taking my phone out, I read his message from this afternoon that said he was at home. I could drop by anytime. I checked his room, but it was empty. He must be in the basement. He told me he had some intense workout there. I descended the stairs and found myself in a spacious gym connected to another room. This was the first time I stepped in here.

I bite my tongue, holding back more questions. His face is too raw. Too exposed. And for the first time, I realize—Jack bleeds too. So I change the subject. “Hey, um... do you have a pack library or something?” I ask, trying to sound casual. He blinks. “Yeah. Why?” “Just bored,” I shrug. “Need something to read while you’re off being Alpha-y.” “You want books?” I nod, hiding my real motive.

They had me write in these books for hours on end. 0 I reach down and rip a second stair tread off and find another stack of notebooks tied together. 0 "Come on, let's see how many there are," I say and Jack and I make quick work to dismantle the stairs and we find ten bundles of notebooks, all tied with the same kind of string and each bundle has ten to twelve notebooks in them. 0 We take them out to the car and Jack opens the trunk and we toss them back there, but I grab a couple from the pile. As we begin our trip home I flip through them and come across one page that has drawings on it.

jack tilted his head in confusion . " it's a code name ,it's used to identify us , you see a normal person would give their real name but we made it this way " " makes sense I guess..but it's cringey as hell " jack said. After passing through the forest they where now looking at small place with a lot of small buildings and a large one . " well look at that " jack said . " cool right?" julie said .
