Whispers of Sikar

Whispers of Sikar

I remained oblivious for several minutes - or a thousand years, there is no telling - before I finally allowed the deafening sound of their whispers into my mind. It is not one this time, but many, and these are not the same as the one that drew me this close to oblivion. The whispers are fingertips clawing their way into the blank slate that is my soul. They are inside me, yet they are all around me, muttering in incoherent spates. It puts my senses on edge. Whenever they speak, they rush throughout my body like the touch of static. I cannot ignore them, but I can only stare into nothing, listening. The voices continue. They do not seem to speak to me, but rather to one another. I do not ev

The Alpha’s Pretty Mistake

The Alpha’s Pretty Mistake

She always escaped early, always found somewhere to be that wasn’t there, with me. On my desk sat my journal. A page was open. I didn’t remember opening it the night before. I didn’t remember writing. But there it was: a page filled edge to edge with handwriting, my handwriting, except not, slanted, urgent, like someone drew words with trembling hands. “The dead don’t sleep. They are the light. They whisper. They remember what the living try to forget.” I slammed the journal shut. And for a long moment, I couldn’t breathe.

MATED FOR ONLY A BABY

MATED FOR ONLY A BABY

He was clinging to me with all his strength,so tight like he was about to lose something dear. The healers were frantic and kind of confused, their hands pressing against my scorched and pale skin as they murmured prayers to gods who had never aided me. The tent's air was thick and stifling with heat and cold, saturated with the scent of blood and herbs. And amidst it all? I felt myself fading. Not into death. But into something else, something unexplainableSomething darker. ********* The whispers emerged first.Soft. Somhow Familiar. Did you really think you could kill me, little wolf?My breath caught. No. No, she was gone.

Luna Battle: The Game

Luna Battle: The Game

Whispers float into my ear, and I turn not seeing anyone. "Asher?" Zyra taps me. I could have sworn I heard someone whispering in my ear. Why do I feel like I need to protect everyone from me? Like I'm going to get them hurt? I turn back and face Ravenna, she smiles and giggles. The whispering starts again, getting louder; it sounds like chanting, like it's saying death and kill them. I shake my head and close my eyes. Images flood through of Ravenna dead on my lap.

This story really turned into something great as we get to know the main characters in the first story. The second half was so good. So love the continuation of the story with the next generation and new mates in part two. Part three just got started and I’m loving it. Definitely a good read!

Whispers Beneath The Silver Moon

Whispers Beneath The Silver Moon

Focused. Calculated. Then, quietly “There are rumors,” he said. The room stilled. “Of someone who can manipulate bonds.” My heart stopped. “That’s impossible,” an elder snapped. Adrian didn’t look at him. He looked at me. “And yet,” he said softly, “something just touched yours.” The bond pulsed again. Wrong. Unfamiliar. Watching. And suddenly This wasn’t about choice anymore. It wasn’t just Rowan. Or Adrian. Or the alliance.

Tainted Whispers

Tainted Whispers

The silence that followed Serena’s "No" was not merely a lack of sound; it was a physical weight, a crushing atmosphere that seemed to suck the oxygen from the vast, industrial hall. It was the sound of an empire cracking, the sound of a death warrant being signed in the space of a single breath.

Bleeding. Breathing. Barely. The footsteps were gone. Whoever had done it had left. Or watched. Or both. It didn’t matter. We had names to carve into tombstones now. We had truths to face. We were no longer guessing. No longer feeding lies to catch a whisper of betrayal. We were in it. Drowning in it. And there was no going back. I turned my head to him, my blood mixing with his on the cracked pavement. His lips parted again. A whisper. I leaned close, fighting every scream in my body.

*** Command. *** Authority. *** A mirror. *** Her power stirred in response. *** Morrígan’s presence surged beneath her skin. *** *Answer.* *** The whisper was clearer now. Stronger. *** Raven’s hand twitched. *** She could feel the dead beneath this ground. Old bones. Old war. Waiting. *** *End it.* *** The pull sharpened. *** Faster. Cleaner. Absolute. *** Raise them. Crush them. Win. *** Her breath slowed.
