Whispers of the Wild Hunt
For our survival, because it’s not just me anymore, but all three of us who need to get out.
And while my soul called out to a wolf that I barely even knew, the cages around me never slept. Work was never done. Somewhere beyond my walls, I can hear the others, always coming and going, new ones being brought in daily. They have to be taking them from all over the states, because there’s no way this many supernatural beings go missing in one spot and no one takes a notice.
The screams are what haunt me the most, their cries ricocheting off of cement. Those that kept crying, I would see the next day, but too many of the screams were cut off abruptly. Silenced in a moments notice.
