As the pack Luna, I called the guards on duty, I called the guards through a mind link and called for them to secure the boundaries until I arrived. I made it clear that if backup was needed, they should not hesitate to call for it. In my human form, I gave control to my wolf, Jade, while Levi shifted into his grey wolf. Despite being outnumbered, Levi fought with no fear in his eyes, determined to protect Alonzo who was still being carried by the swift warrior.

I watched as a legion of wolves and Lycans milled to one side, about half of Vrionis armies, but the rest plus the ones with the neck bracelets did not stop. They started to rush forward towards us. Anastasios Martas howled and the guardians swept in after them. "If you are with me, stand to the far right!" Bertulf yelled, "and let the grounds drink the blood of traitors!" Vrionis half-shifted as he got closer to us. Bertulf did the same. And the difference between their beasts made me understand better the possible source of Vrionis' hatred. Bertulf was not a wolf but a mixed-breed Lycan.

She had been corrupted by evil, and now she could control the very oceans themselves, creating tsunamis and whirlpools at will. Julius, the Third Commander, was an ex-Alpha from the Wolfsbane Clan. He could summon lightning bolts that could split the sky and incinerate anything in their path. Dray, the Fourth Commander, was a shadow hunter from the Shadow Hunter Clan. He could manipulate the shadows to his will, appearing and disappearing without a trace and creating illusions that could deceive even the most perceptive minds.

Tell her, Marcus thought, his chest tightening as he waited. “Oh yes. I find him fascinating.” She said, turning to look at him. “He is warm and brown. My favorite color. He is not my favorite species but… ” She shrugged. “He makes up for it, because he is extremely jealous, possessive, protective, and his temperament… I mean passion…I like the way he burns… with passion. It is inspiring.” His brothers tried to fight back their smiles, except for Saul. Zoila played along and chuckled. “He does look passionate,” she pretended not to understand the underlying meaning. “werewolf males are often passionate. It is what makes them special.”

Her call is an echo on the wind, a summons to battle that cannot be ignored. Beside her appears a pair of wolves, Aoron and Eta. They connect with the werewolves, seeking compatible partners amidst the pack. Together, they unleash a powerful howl and charge towards the Drider. They attack from all directions, their claws and teeth deadly weapons that tear and rend. Gradually, they manage to break all the Drider's legs, incapacitating it.

I gathered more energy to take them out one by one. “Stand down!” Their leader in the cowboy hat stalked through the door, gazing at the scene. “This is what happens when you disrespect the white wolf. She is a gift. We are winning our war because of her powers. The scales are finally tipped in our favor...” What? The energy moved out of me into a storm—a small storm with gale-force winds that knocked the hunters into one another. The leader knelt in front of my cage, mumbling some prayer. Others followed his lead. These men were getting crazier and crazier.

“Perhaps. But Stormfang cannot afford dulled steel. Not with rogues circling. Not with rival packs watching.” Murmurs of agreement rippled through them. She let her voice drop, low, confidential. “And not with a human sitting where a wolf should.” The air stilled. One warrior frowned. “You mean… the Luna?” Lilith’s icy blue eyes glinted. “Do you truly call her that? A girl with no fangs, no claws, no wolf’s blood in her veins? She bleeds like prey. She cannot lead you.” Unease flickered across the warriors’ faces. They shifted, exchanging glances, their earlier ease gone.

Leonel looked at her and positioned himself in front of her and it was then that Joss had seen the lion fur all stained with dried blood, and at that moment, she with her own hand put her shoulder back in place and showed all her fury in a shrill growl turning into a she-wolf and standing beside Leonel as an invitation -will you face us? The few wolves that had resisted death or the stupidity of facing Leonel ended up snarling and running away, disappearing into the shadows. They both returned to human form, but Leonel had to be left holding his broken wrist, thank God, the only part of his body they managed to break.

I have seen the design somewhere before, but I couldn't quite place where. Wait, I know! It's the symbol of the Wolf Warrior. But why is it with Luna? Could she be connected to the Wolf Warrior in some way? But how is it possible when Luna is a human?

"I am going to the club tonight. I need something to make me forget today." Carter inwardly sighed and just nodded, as Leo walked into the bedroom to change. "Yes boss." Inside the car, Carter drove his boss to the LIQUID DREAMING CLUB. He hated that his boss went here to find some women to be with. Leo had a girlfriend. She was in the relationship for his money and power. Mage Shoten was every man's dream but she was a toxic and vicious woman who thought she had Leo wrapped around her finger. But Mage's father had been one of the BOD who tried to frame Leo. Carter feared the relationship wouldn't fare well.
