ALARIC The ride back home was quiet, the soft hum of the engine filling the silence as I stared at the bouquet resting on the seat beside me, white roses, lavender sprigs, and a single pink peony. I didn’t know if she’d like them, but somehow they felt right. Beautiful. Gentle. A little like her. By the time I reached the palace, the moon had begun to rise, silver light spilling through the tall windows. I climbed the grand staircase, the flowers in hand, and made my way toward our bedroom.

He was elated to know about his mate's longing for him. Alice stood in the garden outside the house with Kace close by. She was tired of being cooped up inside. The pleasant scent of the flowers wafted across her nose as the birds chipped. Alice was about to pluck a rose when she heard footsteps behind her, thinking it was Kace. She wasn’t alarmed. Upon hearing the footsteps, she turned around to see an unfamiliar person walking towards are and she began to panic as she didn’t remember seeing the person anywhere in the pack.

Alice asked. "Yeah, I am okay." Rose replied to Alice. Alice nodded and went to give the others the pieces of cake. Alice was giving everyone pieces of cake. But unexpectedly she felt a strong smell. It had a very attractive scent. She ran for the smell. She was sniffing the air and came outside. Then she felt her wolf jolting with happiness. She looked at the owner of the smell. "Vector?" She was shocked. Vector turned back to her. He came to her slowly.

Anna felt her heart skip a beat and a smile stretched on her lips as she gazed at the fifty long-stemmed sparkling roses, an elegant satin ribbon wrapped around the stem. “It’s breathtaking,” she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. “It is.” “I think there is a note,” Wendy pointed out. Anna slowly took the small paper from the middle of the flower under the curious eyes of everyone but before she could read it, it was snatched from her by Dali and Wendy and they both read it out loud together. “As this rose burns with red, so too does my passion for you.” They screamed, their voices traveling throughout the office. “Oh my God, that’s one poetic line.”

Megan's POV "Wow! I think your face will stay that way for the rest of our retreat," Alice said the moment I turned around and found her looking at me with a wide grin on her face, hands on her hips. "What?" I asked. "Your face is all red, and flirting with your ex early in the morning seems to suit you very well, my dear best friend," she said. I walked past her and looked for a vase or bottle where I could put the beautiful roses and lilies Ashton gave me, and I was smiling while inhaling the fragrance of the fresh flowers in my hands.

And Theodore couldn’t tell whether she was simply kind enough to pretend or whether she truly meant it. But then she lifted the rose to her nose, smiling as she breathed in the scent, and held it against her chest afterwards instead of setting it aside with the decorations. His heart stumbled hard enough to hurt. “You picked a red rose,” she said. “Bold choice.” “It was going to be thrown out.” Alicia gasped theatrically. “A redemption story. Now I’m emotionally attached to it.” He huffed out another reluctant laugh. “There’s no saving you,” he muttered.

I looked at the rose flower I am holding, the one Leah has personally picked out for me to use in charming Alice. I waited and waited. Then I became anxious that Alice might not even want to attend this party at all. For all I know, she could be snoring the evening away in a deep sleep. I laughed at myself. Logan, everything about you is just a fucking joke! Suddenly, the door creaked opened and Alice walked out. My breath ceased that instant. If I thought she was beautiful the day I married her, then she is an absolute angel today. I know I have seen countless beautiful women. Hell, I have even attended dozens of beauty pageantries, but no one has even blown my mind away like Alice.

And the blush that was barely receding was back again. "I'm not a pretty little flower, Roses are as pretty as they are dangerous." He scoffed, standing up and even from where he was standing, I could see that he'll tower over me. He straightened out his suit jacket. Eyes boring into mine. "The only dangerous roses are those with thorns Rose, and you my dear, you have no thorns. You're a pretty little flower, a harmless little flower." He walked towards me till he was standing right Infront of me, towering over me as expected, I craned my neck just too look at him. "I'll be taking my leave now pretty flower, say hi to Mr. Potter for me."

7:40 AM. In his hands, Robert held a bouquet of white flowers, mostly carnations. He loved white carnations because they had always been his mother's favorites, and he believed they might also be to Alice's liking. However, inside that vehicle, four men were unloading floral arrangements of roses and carnations, adorning the entire path leading to Alice's room, the entire house up to the entrance, filling every corner with those decorations. The house was full! It gave a very pleasant atmosphere, not to mention the scent they emitted.

… When the delivery person brought the flowers, they shouted, "I'm here for Alice! Your roses are here!" Alice raised her head high and jogged toward the delivery person. "That's me!" She took the large bouquet of roses from the delivery person and sniffed at it deeply to show off. "It smells so nice." Her coworkers gathered around. "Who sent them?" "My good friend, Aralyn!" Joanna also saw the flowers in Alice's hands—they were much larger and obviously much more expensive than hers. She grumbled, "It's not even from a man. Why are you so proud of it?"
