She is not trying to say that he is an outsider but still her mama’s trust in him and reliance is something she envied for years and now it turned into jealousy and there is no way she’ll let it go without addressing. But not now. “Joshua Ferguson.” The name sounded familiar and she racked her brains, searching her memory for the person. “The chief editor of CNN.” She said with a hunch and her mama’s nod confirmed her guess. She didn't know that her dad was friends with the media guy but aren’t the people from TV unreliable?

Rosita. Riley stopped in his tracks on hearing this and swiftly turned her gaze to her mother's bed. "What is there to understand mum....?" she queried. "No, what do you... want me to understand? You want me to understand that a woman out of her jealousy, hunted down my family and killed my dad...? You want me to understand that someone out there is spying on us and wants my entire family wiped out....?" she mumbled amidst tears. Rosita and Lian stared at her speechless and devastated.

Then, I proceeded to the kitchen for my daily dose of hot coffee. Mama sat on one of the bar stools as usual, chatting away with Vicky, our maid slash nanny who had been working for us for as long as I could remember. Surprisingly, she didn't do much work, seeing as mama was one of those people who had had a hard time growing up, but claimed that was what had made them who they were today, and didn't want riches to be the reason for their children being spoilt little brats who couldn't do anything for themselves. In any case, I guess I was glad for the training... it made me more independent, and gave me a much-needed aunty-figure in my life.

But I couldn’t, because they don’t trust me. “It’s time to talk Cole” Gunner said firmly. Cole looked to me once more and pulled Alyse’s hand a little closer to his side. “She’s her mother” Cole said confidently. “She’s whose mother?” Gunner asked exasperatedly. Cole didn’t answer him, instead they stood quietly, staring at each other. Romeá’s eyes bore into me with keen interest. She was a bright woman, very smart and inquisitive. Her head was tilted to the side and she had her bottom lip between her teeth. Her eyes widened and she paled. It took her all of a minute to put the pieces together. She gripped hold of her son’s shirt and began to shake it roughly. Gunner shook off his mother and

"You're about to walk into the lion's den." A confident chuckle came from the other end of the line. "Oh, I'm ready, Mom. Sienna Hamilton won't know what hit her." As Marjorie ended the call, a delicious sense of anticipation unfurled within her. She leaned back and fixed her eyes on the screen, ready to watch the spectacle unfold. She might be locked behind bars, but tonight, she felt more powerful than ever.

The disaster is long gone but Joe is still trapped in the shadows of the past. “No, Of course not. You can be what you want to be, what you are in front of me when I'm with you.." How can July judge him like that when he knows so well how Joe and his family history. “I was reluctant to meet Mama because it was still hard to get to know or accept her new partner of choice. "That, Noah, is the mother of the bastard who's been causing all the trouble. Jeffery's mum." The woman exuded an air of elegance and sophistication. She was in her late 50's. "And she would be needing money." With her being this close to me, I kissed her lips. "You see why I said you are amazing?" "You already started it. So it didn't take much for her to be found." I chuckled. "That reminds me, what did you do with my money, Mama?" "Charity." I could not help but laugh. "You went from, 'I don't want anything to do with your money' to spending and giving out at will."

Agent Vernon chuckled. “She was a good fighter,” Agent Jane said while trying to stop herself from giggling. “They said she had quick hands and she could usually put down her opponent in just a few seconds. Every time she’d come out to fight, they would play music by her favorite rapper, Tupac Shakur,” Agent Jane explained through her giggling.

So I ask the most obvious of them. "Who is Amalia?" I bat my eyes innocently. "Didn't Enzo tell you? I am not surprised though, there was no love lost between them. Amalia is Domenico's mother and she is one twisted witch. Trust me, you don't want to meet her. And if Enzo suggests you take your child to her, your answer should be a resounding no." "Why is she so bad?" I prod, keeping my eyes on the road while Mr Phil takes the turn the GPS prompts him to.
