I looked down at my little plump belly, placed a hand over it, cautious of Birdie next to me enjoying the wolves and the pups as well, and closed my eyes, imagining myself with a round belly in seven months or so.
"I'm going to see you soon, little one," I whispered, "you will have lots of people that love you already.
"Lily, who are you talking to?"
I jerk my head and found my grandma looking at me. "Oh, no one," I smiled widely to hide the lie. "Nobody, just myself."
Birdie arched a brow. "Lily, ever since you got here, I've meant to ask," oh shit! "Are you-"
"Mama Birdie, Lily! Come on, let's go eat." Dad called us and cut off the question grandma wanted to ask.
