Who Is The Protagonist In A Story Novels & Stories

With that I believe that the characters actions in this story are not limitedly portrayed as an antagonist or protagonist in that matter, as I'm particular that there is not one antagonist or protagonist in this story… if you are wondering which is which, I'm confident to leave that to your imagination. Consciously, this story might just be a compilation of multiple rewrites, revisions, word grinding, thesaurus, grammar checkers and stacks of psychology research papers and case studies, but to me personally, it was a thrilling 7 days and 8 nights of turning a single word to a soulful dialogue, dialogue to masterful paragraph, paragraphs to full grown characters, character to exciting chapter

[ IN WHICH SHE IS BITTER ] Every story has a protagonist, and also an antagonist— whom everyone refers to as the villain. However, in my story, I am unsure who holds the position of the protagonist and the antagonist. Even those that are expected to hold it, seem like they don't deserve it. I may be the heroine; the chief female character, since this is the story of my life, but I am not entirely sure about being a heroine. Because what sort of heroine has this much bad luck? What sort of heroine gets deceived and betrayed by her loved ones? What sort of heroine has people shooting arrows into her back? What sort of heroine is never able to obtain true happiness?
