She expected tears but instead, it was blood coming from her eyes. She also spits up blood out of her mouth. Her body felt like a thousand knives stabbing her. The pain was unbearable that she was sweating and breathing heavily. She starts to choke on her blood during this time. She looks over to the King for help. But he was going through the same thing. Novella watches her parent die by poison. There was no remorse or emotion she was happy to kill them. Their death was taking too long she grabs a knife off the table and killed them. The Guard clean

I cried and slammed my fists against him. “Miss Hasty, please try and calm down, I know that you are angry at me but —“ “Don’t you dare call me that or tell me to calm down!” I snapped. I ran my hands through my hair and cried. “Do you have any idea what happened?! Someone died! They died right here!” I boomed. They cremated him before I even graduated.” I blow out a breath. “Shit. I’m sorry.” “Me too.” She squeezes my hand. “You would’ve liked him. We were obsessed with Manticore Quest together.”

I fall to my knees and double over for a second as the vision of Hugo fills my mind. In a flash, Doze is next to me. “I felt it too when my old man died. It should pass quicker for you because your wolf wasn’t really attached to him. Their souls never bonded,” he explains. I grunt and try to push to my feet but a wave of nausea hits me. “Just sit tight for a minute, I’m gonna get the hose,” he says, as I throw myself on my back. The feeling is like a bad leg cramp all over my whole body and for a moment, I can’t move.

"It was a heartbreaking novel." I was shocked when I learned about Alina writing. It wasn't something I knew about. Hell most of the school didn't know Alina write. When in the start of the year, I saw it on f*, I was curious to read it. I bought it and I ended it in a day.
