Novel & Cerita Why Are You Laughing

Hearing this, James suddenly laughed. It seemed that he was amused. The woman frowned, "Why are you... laughing?" She had promised him, but why did he laugh like this? Well, he was laughing, but it was not because of happiness or secret pleasure. She couldn't figure out the reason.

"Come on, I'm serious! Why are you laughing? Is it funny?" I shut my mouth while I laughed, but it had increased more, "Of course it is! How do you expect me to react to it? Honestly, you sound funny right now. I'm so sorry but I have no choice but to laugh in your face. Well, I didn't see it as a big deal. It's no big deal to me And being praised isn't something I should be excited about."

Then Liora snorted, covering her mouth. Her shoulders started to shake, and before I could process it, she was laughing a full, unrestrained, beautiful laughter. “It’s not funny,” I said, staring at her in disbelief. “I know,” she gasped between laughs. “That’s why it’s perfect. It’s so bad, it’s actually good.” I shook my head, smiling despite myself. “You’re laughing at the dryness of my joke?” “Exactly,” she said, wiping a tear from the corner of her eye. “You sound like someone who hasn’t laughed in years, so it’s even funnier.”

It wasn’t a happy laugh because nothing was funny but I still laughed anyway. I stood there, outside the house, laughing like someone who had lost her mind. The kind of laugh that comes out when you feel so hurt and so confused, that your body doesn’t know what else to do. My chest shook as I laughed harder, louder, and longer until it turned into something else that I didn’t see coming, tears.

Suddenly, I hear a quiet laugh. “Holy shit! You’re forcing me back into my teenage masturbating years! You have no idea how long it’s been since I last jerked off!” “Well then… you are welcome,” I snort, hearing him burst into loud, rolling laughter. Damn, his laugh is ridiculously contagious! Turns out he has that type of laugh that makes everyone want to laugh along.

Azrail glanced at me in the rearview mirror and I heard a tiny giggle comes out of his lips, as if he had picked up on something amusing in what I had said, despite the fact that I had posed the question in all seriousness. “What? Why are you laughing? I’m not kidding; I’m seeking the truth,” I said to him while frowning. “I believe that now is not the time to jest. I’m being serious. My life is on the line here, you understand?” When someone laughs at what I’ve said, even if there’s nothing humorous about it, it causes my head to heat up. It seemed as if he were cracking jokes about everything in life.

I explained with a small chuckle. Emma only grinned a little before chipping out, "That's became you're becoming creepy, like Christie is. People don't just laugh like that with no reason in particular. People laugh for a reason unless the person is more or less a creep. Why the heck would a person laugh at nothing in particular?" Emma rambled on with a small laugh. "It's means you're already becoming creepy too, because you're obviously laughing right now without any good reason," Christie pointed out sweetly.

I was confused as to what she was meaning, having not been paying attention to the movie. “Why do people feel the need to act a certain way so people can laugh at them?” She tried again. “Oh, well I suppose they enjoy making people laugh.” I told her, turning my attention to the movie. “Why would someone want to be laughed at?” She questioned. “It isn’t because they are wanting them to laugh at them, most people do things to just get someone to laugh. It makes people feel good to know they brought joy into someone’s life.” I explained.

And with that, a sad smile was formed on my lips. I hope it's always like this. No magic. No enemy. No risk. No one will get hurt. But suddenly they were stunned as they looked at m,e as if a miracle had happened. "Are you laughing for real?" Shiloh said. He is the one sitting next to me. "You just laugh when you saw me dance." He added. I just stared at him jadedly before I speak. "Why am I not allowed to laugh?" I retort but he just chuckles.

Stacey scowled at him, but that didn't stop him. “Are you fucking kidding me?” he said amidst laughter. His laughter was contagious as it spread through the guys and soon enough they all began to laugh. Aanya found the scene hilarious and with time, she joined in unknowingly. She didn't have any idea why they all laughed, but it was fun and for the first time she felt alive. “Okay, why are we laughing?” she asked as soon as the laughter had died down. She turned to Stacey whose eyes were already glassy due to constant laughing.
