My reasoning is because I was focusing on finishing off high school, had to deal with graduation and family matters, and most of all I was unmotivated and I have been. Yes, I know it sounds like an excuse but I'd rather write Blinded when I'm motivated rather than write crappy chapters that I don't enjoy writing. So for the month of June, I'm going to take a break from writing, find some sort of motivation, and overall figure out what direction I want Blinded to go. You'll be half-blind in one eye, and the headache will feel like a spike through your skull."

One single, quick blow right at his Adam's apple. It’s all a whir of mere seconds, as though I’m in slow motion and the world is speeding around me. My vision blurry with tears and my left eye is burning so bad it’s streaming. All I can see as I try to acclimatise is the fluid form of a trained fighter, a silent deadly movement and intimidating presence.

I tried to crack my eyes but found that it was too difficult. “C-Can’t,” I whispered. “Too b-bright.” “Hang on.” I felt his presence beside me shift. A moment passed and the room had grown dimmer. I gave it another try. Slowly, I peered my eyes open; however, my vision wasn’t as clear as it should have been. It was terribly spotty and ridiculously blurry. All I could really make out were shapes. My hindered gaze fixated on a particularly large shape that moved about the room. My brows drew together in utter confusion. Was there someone else in here with us?

Bree leaned back against the sofa's backrest and let herself recover from the dizziness. Suddenly, Bree felt her hair stand on end. She felt the same thing earlier. Without any hesitation, Bree opened her eyes. She didn't move from leaning against the sofa. Through her blurry vision, Bree saw the silhouette of a man standing next to her. She blinked a couple of times to clear her vision! But it was still the same! Was she that drunk to hallucinate like this? Bree raised her hand and waved it in front of her. Dizzy and blurry eyes, not a good combination.
