Why Do People Love Reading Novels & Stories

I like reading from male point of view so that I could understand what men usually think before speaking or doing anything. Just like Ivan, he likes to read male point of view books not because he is interested in their thoughts, he says he likes to read it because he would get to know their feelings which is rare as a man could show. He is true, no man exposes his feelings to anyone and if they did it would be someone special. I never thought he would be among the guys who speaks their feelings out, atleast not to me.

Makes humans rapted in an imaginary world, completely forgetting what reality brings. But I doubt so. I think books are more of an extension of real life happenings. Not a disease but a cure. Most people read books to escape reality and not to forget it. We don't get trapped in our own imaginations, we just foresee images that we want our lives to become. Saliently, we learn from books. If I can't associate with anyone, I thought at least I should be permitted to read books. After all, books can't capture the identity of the one reading it, can it?

You can rather watch a movie than read books." I slapped the book out of her hand. "This book… 'The Badboy's Pre-planned Future Bride' by 'Gift Odulesi', it's awesome. You really should read her books. Some people prefer reading books than watching movies." She rolled her eyes and picked the book from the floor. "Oh, really? People like who?" I took a handful of chips and threw it into my mouth, munching it.
