Why Do Vampires Have To Be Invited In Novels & Stories

Third Person The invitation wasn’t only sent to Alphas and Lunas of other packs but also to prominent figures like the White Witches of Panoma, the Warlocks of the Grassland, the Crown Prince of Oman (Vampire Clan), and the ever-wicked and pristine Black Witches of Cave Blood. Aside from them, nobles, high-ranking elders, and ministers were also invited, and, as expected, one of them arrived at the prime minister's mansion. Yella was now feeling much better. The herbs Helene had prescribed were doing a great deal in numbing the constant aching of her bones and weakness, but it wasn’t just that. She had warned her mother as she had years back.

Now they were here to make a treaty while Avery was panicking. "Why do you have to invite them to the pack? We can meet them outside the pack but... " Sylvester sighed as he did not knew that those vampires will take that invitation that seriously. He gave a nod to Avery who immediately left and then turned towards Gia. "Why have me sign that contract and stay here?" Federico couldn't tell Hailey the truth—that he believed he may carry his chosen blood. That's what made her special. Every vampire had their own unique chosen blood—blood that was more flavorful and powerful to that vampire. The odds of finding the exact carrier were incredibly low. That's why as soon as Federico suspected Hailey might contain his chosen blood, he had insisted she stay by his side. But Federico couldn't just keep Hailey as a blood pet—not in this day and age. With social media and how much more advanced police gadgets had gotten, that would almost certainly lead to mortals uncovering the truth about the existence of vampires.

But boy, when she did come over I could never stop staring. "You know," Miss Aza started as she gazed out into the lit night, "Vampires can't come into a residence without being invited in. So, you ain't got nothing to worry about. Let's just hope she hadn't hosted a dinner for one of them in the past." I didn't know what to say. Had I known that our conversation was going to be about bloodsuckers, I would have been more prepared. "I didn't know that," I said. "But I guess taking precautions never hurt."

Roscoe growled He's truly stupid. I looked up at the sky as though asking the moon goddess, why she gave me this stupid mate. "I, Catalina Caressa Marisol Ziva, invite you in the pack lands on the condition that you cause no harm to any of the residents." I chanted Roscoe's head whipped towards me so hard that I was scared that it would severe from his body. Everyone around me stared at me in disbelief. Everyone except the vampires of course. With the invitation given, the first vampire set his foot in, accepting the said condition.

Another figure leapt out of the darkness to where she was lying, picked her up and hoped away Earlier, Damien had gone hunting for blood. Damien didn't usually hunt for blood every night, a single person's blood was able to sustain him for a few days. However, ever since he crossed paths with Elsie, he has been strangely hungry for blood and never got his fill. I don't think my mum will be joining us today I told Laila as she nodded her head in response. I poured myself a cup of coffee and added a splash of milk, while Laila opted for a glass of orange juice. We both helped ourselves to generous servings of the breakfast foods, making small talks as we ate. After we finished our meal, the maids cleared the table as I headed out and Laila went to wherever she went too. I met with the council of Elders gathered in the meeting hall to discuss the invitation we had received from the vampires. The invitation had come as a surprise to us werewolves, as we had not had any contact with the vampires in over a hundred years.

THIRD PERSON POV Lazarus couldn’t believe that Miranda invited him to a she-wolf’s moonday party, but he couldn’t turn it down, it wasn’t a gentlemanly thing to do. He just didn’t have it in him to turn down a lady’s invite. He decided to arrive earlier with some of his vampire buddies and check out this mystery of the Bloodshed Woods. He had never heard of a vampire going feral in over five hundred years. Furthermore, he needed to see this for himself before he mentioned it to his father.

“We do, we just cannot see our own reflection,” Paris answered, amused that a clever girl like Ann believed in Vampire tales. “Do you need to be invited into a house? Did my mom invite you in?” Ann asked, eager to know. “Yes, we need to be invited in, into some houses. Depends if an Inupiat shaman put an invitation spell on a house,” Paris answered, wondering if he must compel her to forget. “Shaman?” Ann asked, confused.
