My old pack was like that and look what happened to us. We walked out of the pack house and went behind where there were a bunch of men a bit of a way off. When we got there, I saw a guy who looked kind of familiar. He had brown hair and light brown eyes. He, like all the other men training, was shirtless. He, however, had a large scar running diagonally across his chest. I felt like I had seen him before, except I hadn't. At least not like this. We walked over to him and the man smiled at Xavier.

My father and Noah both laughed. “Shut up,” Scar growled. “The truth hurts, princess,” Ad remarked with a smirk on his face. Scar ran to him and punched him, and I struggled with my confines. Scar ripped his shirt off and tossed it to the ground. His eight-pack abs and muscular back were on display. He wasn’t as attractive as Nicolas, but he was nonetheless appealing. What got my attention was his body was littered with marks. Same as Nicolas. And I know who did it.

“A runner.” Ryan frowned. “What runner?” Cole shook his head. “I don’t know his name.” Ryan rolled his eyes. “That’s oddly convenient.” Kaiden stepped closer to the bars. “What did he look like?” Cole hesitated. “Tall. Dark hair.” Ryan snorted. “Congratulations. You just described half the pack.” Cole sighed. “He had a scar here.” He tapped the left side of his jaw.
