Why Some People Become Lifelong Readers Novels & Stories

Hopefully one or two things will catch your fancy in the matter of character adjustments and or hope for survival. I am a bookworm, a book lover I mean. I've always been one right from kindergarten. I read so much books I felt I would explode one day if I didn't stop. I didn't stop, and I also did not explode. Instead, they made me smarter. I read mystery books, thrillers and fantasies or general kid books. I read teen fiction too but I stayed away from horror. Mom bought me all of my books. I've got at least seventy books in my bookshelf and mom got them all for me. It was not a problem for her at all.

I wasn't lying though but it wasn't entirely the truth. “Well, I have grown to love reading, thanks to you, you have made me develop a habit of reading! There is just this magical feeling, it feels like you have left your world and gotten lost in the book because it is too good! Reading feels like a portal to another world which I only have to read to be able to enter!” I explained with a smile. Think about a recent book I read that added pleasure to my life making it a little sweeter.

But I found solace in the quiet corners of the library, where I could lose myself in novels and the endless sea of academic texts. I was always the quiet one, the girl who preferred the company of books over people. The library became my sanctuary, a place where I could escape the noise and chaos of campus life. It wasn’t that I disliked people; I just felt more comfortable in my own world, where stories came alive on the pages of my favorite books.

I like to chip in words that people cannot comprehend and watch them stutter while trying to fathom the meaning of the words I speak. I read because…it is the only thing that gives me value in this palace; without my knowledge…I am nothing." His words wormed their way into Micah's skull. "Maybe you read because you see it as an option to drive away loneliness. You and your thoughts woven into a book, left to your imagination… quite entertaining."
