Why Some People Become Lifelong Readers Novels & Stories

Sprinted to the door, I pulled it open, not expecting it to open, but it did, causing my heart to swell in joy. Ambling to the shelf, my eyes darted round the various book covers. Fiction was my favorite book to read because the best thing about reading was to be able to escape from your life, to be able to read hundreds or even thousands of other lives. Non-fiction does not have that power, it does not change you the way fiction does. To me, if you are not affected somehow, even if it is the slightest change, you are not reading the right book. I would love to think that every novel I have read has become a part of me and created who I am in a sense.

The library was a third illustrious and recognizable library in Wicklow for encompassing historical quixotic and idealistic fictions. In fact, the pile of my words can be categorised as rambling. Well, I loved reading newspapers, inspirational books, classics and most importantly, novels. Love stories are a key to my heart and a fuel to my imagination. I was teased by the name 'reading maniac' because I could literally read anything. All I need is a piece of writing. Though this habit is considered ‘boring’ by my friends, but I like it so, I do it and I have no regrets or problem in being called a ‘boring person’.

Most people read books to escape reality and not to forget it. We don't get trapped in our own imaginations, we just foresee images that we want our lives to become. Saliently, we learn from books. If I can't associate with anyone, I thought at least I should be permitted to read books. After all, books can't capture the identity of the one reading it, can it?
