Her words make me stammer a little, “W-why do you ask?” She explains, “Because I rang your bell for ten minutes, and you weren’t answering the door.” “You rang the bell?” I chuckle, sounding slightly nervous, “How weird! Because I’m right inside the room, and I didn’t hear anything!” Oh hell, what a lie. Right, maybe half, because I’m actually inside the room, but not that one. “That’s weird.” in a puzzled tone Daniella mentions, “Is the bell broken?” I can hear her pressing the doorbell once more giving it another try.

I don’t answer. I just stare as it keeps ringing. And ringing. And ringing. What do I do now?? Should I answer the call or not??

Bella’s POV The sound of my ringtone filled the air but my ears had long grown numb to it. After that disaster of a dinner my mom’s being calling my phone none stop but I wasn’t ready to face the devastating reality staring me straight in the face so I told myself, maybe if I ignore it, who knows? It might just go away but boy am I kidding? I’m just lucky she doesn’t know where I live otherwise it would’ve been a hell of a show.

We both then marched our ways through the path and paused before the door. As I raised my hand to press the bell Milan wiggled excitedly, "I want to hit the bell." and insisted on doing it as if it was fun. I didn't refuse and helped her little finger press at the button. It amazed her and she insisted on doing it again. I said a no but she knew how to do it and she herself pressed the bell. This time she kept it pressed under her finger, making the bell ring without a pause and I can hear Mr. Stark cursing angrily on the other side of the door.
