"Then let's get one so we can get out of here," I promised and immediately went down into the water because it was only shallow. I immediately picked a flower. "August! That's-" "Oh my god! It withered." I screamed because I was surprised when I picked the flower. After all, it withered. What's happening? "Tss. Because you can't pick it up. You can't separate it from the water." Cayden said to me like he was annoyed.

With a chuckle, I started walking home. The garden outside our house wasn’t too big or too small, split neatly down the middle by a trail of flat rocks leading to the main door. Along the white fence, flowerbeds brimmed with autumn chrysanthemums, marigolds, and pansies, their colors shifting with the season under Mom’s meticulous care. They were the flowers of the current season. I paused when I saw something that shouldn't be there, the flowers were wilting on the right side of the fence but they were normal on the left side.

Meanwhile Zinnia was standing in the backyard staring at the withered flower, its petals curling inward as though shrinking from the cold. My steps lead me outside, into Elena’s garden. I shiver from the cold once I open the glass door. But all the cold is forgotten the instant I notices the state of her garden. All the roses that once bloomed in rich colors, now hang wilted, with petals shriveled and brittle stems. A pang of sadness grips me. It feels symbolic, somehow, this garden is fading as quickly as its owner’s strength I crouch near one of the bushes and brush my fingers over a dead bloom. Maybe some of them can still be salvaged if trimmed, watered and cared for. But most are too far gone.

~ Collins pov~ Immediately after the tour,we went to our different homes,I made sure Flora was out of sight before following her. Am tired of all the crap going on,flora and this school.All the student blood especially Flora's makes me want to feast. I am only transferred to this because of what I intend to collect from Flora,just a little if her blood can do wonders. it can improve the strength of any vampires,it can heal a wounded wound. I only need her to transfer some blood to my dad who's heal.

It can grow up to two feet long, very attractive in the garden, and you can also place it in a flower vase and it may last up to two weeks." Lilith whispered, "Umh... This is nice," as she continued to examine all of the flowers in front of her.

He got Wilma to send her a bouquet of her favorite flower, roses. "The flowers are gorgeous." Meredith took a sniff at the bouquet. Wilma chuckled and said, "Mister Charlie picked each flower by hand, of course, it's gorgeous."
