The Way of the Dragon

The Way of the Dragon

"Hahaha... Erik Chavez, you are still as strong as before!" A burst of bright and clear light flashed. With the appearance of the laughter, an aura moved in front of his face, instantly breaking the sense of suppression brought by Erik Chavez. Then, a huge Fire-winged Lion flew out quickly from the front. The pair of Fire-winged Lion's wings had golden lines, which represented the noble bloodline. There were about 15 or 16 people riding on the Fire-winged Lion. Each of them had a vast aura, and their killing intent were surging. Some of them even had clear bloodstains on their bodies. Obviously, they had experienced a big battle.

Sanguine Inclinations

Sanguine Inclinations

As old as she was, it must’ve been that much harder to exist with no one to lean on. “The nephilim were similar, too mortal for Heaven, too divine for Earth . . . they were a people born lost, and they accepted me for a time.” Her eyes were fixed on me, but I got the sense that it wasn’t truly me she was looking at, but the nephilim who came before. “But then they procreated with the humans, and over time their offspring became less and less monstrous, and I was left behind again.” Pulling the blanket tighter around myself, I tried in vain to conceal my massive wings, feathers poking out from underneath. “I didn’t ask for any of this—to be this.”

Luna's Awakening: She Rose From The Flames

Luna's Awakening: She Rose From The Flames

I hadn’t understood what she meant until now. Maybe she knew. Maybe the fire was never meant to destroy me. The moon slides out from behind the clouds. For a second, the ashes around me glow faintly, stirred by a soft gust. They spiral upward, forming the faint outline of wings. Phoenix wings. I blink, and they’re gone. The world feels too still. Too empty. No guards. No scent of wolves. They must have thought there was nothing left to find. No one survives a fire like that. I crawled towards the river. The reflection that greets me isn’t mine.

Lips Of Deceit

Lips Of Deceit

He took a step toward me with his first two fingers outstretched to touch my forehead, quickly I reacted and ducked under his arms, climbing on my bed and getting off on the other side, the bed a barrier between us. “Oh no. No. I can not sleep, not after that explanation. I’m changing? No longer human? It’s all too much, way too much. The trauma of the fire, then the trauma of dying, then the ridiculous notion that I’m helping angels fight some unseen war and that I will become something other than human?! How in the fucking hell am I supposed to be able to process all of this?”

My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby

My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby

“But you’ll be gone.” And then I moved. Faster than his eyes could track, faster than the witches could react. My fire took over. No more compromises. No more second chances. No more mercy. I felt it before I moved. The shift. My body became flame incarnate, no longer flesh but vengeance wrapped in heat. My wings of fire unfurled behind me—massive, burning brighter than anything I had ever conjured before. I wasn’t walking anymore. I was gliding, a being of wrath.

Wings, Beasts and Claws

Wings, Beasts and Claws

They were also Raven Shifters, making them even more special in the Fafner Kingdom since 90% of our country's inhabitants hand four legs and no wings. I raised my hand and gathered a small amount of warmth around my palm and fingers, creating a thin glove of flames that I pressed against my brother. I splayed my fingers and wiggled them through his fur, adding a little pressure when I finally reached the roots and the heat of his skin. Staring at the dancing flames that harmlessly brushed by his dark brown pelt, I focused on my connection to my twin, envisioning a bridge in my mind that connected me to him.

The Devil's Broken Doll

The Devil's Broken Doll

The scale of him forced the eye to adjust, to recalibrate what counted as a threat, what counted as a weapon. His wings unfurled behind him. Not in a single, theatrical sweep, but in a measured expansion that claimed the space as its own, the membranes stretching outward in layered arcs, catching the rising heat and bending it to his will. The edges burned in deep, smouldering crimson, not bright but dense, like coals banked beneath ancient ash, pulsing in time with the fire beneath his skin. Drifting ash caught along their span, then burned away in curling wisps, leaving no mark. These were not the wings of any bird. They were banners torn from an infernal altar and set ablaze. That fire wa

Fire Chronicles

Fire Chronicles

It didn't need to be, but I craved this pain, relished it. The town slept, the lights off. I swooped in low, my wings grazing the tops of their houses, and I roared. She made me crazy. I wanted death, blood, a fight. Killing these humans would give me two of the three. With a burst of flame to their public building, it exploded. Humans poured from their homes, women screamed, children cried. I made one last pass before changing my course. Was anyone inside the burned building? A small part of me didn't want a human death on my hands. Acasia's words made it a smaller part than usual, so I refused to feel guilty.

Alpha Caspian

Alpha Caspian

His arms circled my neck, his fingers digging into my skin as he sobbed against my shoulder. The heat pressed against us, relentless. I turned, shielding him with my body as I navigated back through the flames. The porch creaked beneath us, and I forced my legs to move faster, knowing that every second counted. Knowing that if I stayed for a bit longer it would either collapse or the house behind me would collapse over us. The flames clawed at my back, and I gritted my teeth against the searing pain. My wolf surged forward, its strength fueling my human form, pushing me through the fire until I burst back into the cool air of the garden.
