Her voice screeched. The sudden outburst caused me to hold my ears in discomfort. It's like her voice shattered my ears drum, and I was bleeding from my ears. Falling to the ground, I curled up in heap, my whole body was in pain, but I wasn't wounded, it was Amber's... Whatever they were doing to her, I was feeling it too. Pulling my body along the dried leaves as flimsy twigs, I groaned in pain... Pain that got unbearable, inflicting a small whimper to escape my lips. Suddenly four W.I.K.D agents appeared around me, their bloodstain uniforms irked my nose. But they weren't agents... Far as I know agents don’t flash fangs, they use guns... These guys were vampires.

"Kill him! Kill him! Kill this fake Isidore!" "Liar!" I shouted. Flames erupted from my mouth, scaring countless warriors into running away from me. I spread my wings as I spewed fire and flew toward Galen. My wings were fully spread, and they were longer than my body. As I flew, I blocked out a large part of the sun. The warriors looked up at me in shock from my shadow. I have grown accustomed to my wings. Flying high, gliding, landing, turning. I use my wings as deftly as I use my hands. They have been completely accepted by my body as my new organs.

Wyatt immediately covered my eyes for me, “He wants you to touch him Brianna, so don’t be scared of him, you can feel his wings and anything else you see fit.” I could feel a whoosh of warm air around us and a loud, piercing, squawking sound as Wyatt dropped his hands. The boy's sense of awe rippled through me as my eyes took in the Phoenix, temporarily covered in flames before it quickly snuffed the flames out and left a breathtaking bird in its place.

He rotated his body and put his legs on the ground and stood like normal once again. “What are you doing with your wings?” Shadow pointed out his fatal flaw. Yes. he had wings now. How could he forget to use it? Yeah, whenever he was with Shadow, he couldn’t think straight because of the trauma received from this small human. ROARRRRRRRRR!!! He shrieked, flapping his fire wings. A strong hot gust rushed to Shadow’s side. The heat that could burn their clothes and skin. “Hot…” Shadow fanned her face with her hand.

The thing kept up until it was easy to tell that it was a person. Wings spread from its back stretching out wide. With one movement it used them to blow the flames towards the warriors that were standing too close. Flames engulfed them in minutes and then they were gone. With another great batting the wings stopped the flames altogether and the thing was all that remained. Elaina watched in horror as it began to move forward taking in the scene around it. A laugh rumbled from it making the hairs on the back of Elaina’s neck stand up.

I didn’t want to pull on my wings because I really liked the hoodie I was wearing, and my wings would make mincemeat of it. I caught her eyes and all I could see was anger and hatred boiling in them. I pushed with my aura so hard my hands felt like fire against her arms. She started making a sound that was close to pain and then suddenly Cash pulled us apart. I was now standing behind Cash as he faced the clawing wolf himself. “Stop it, before you get hurt!” Cash growled at her. She immediately stopped and started sobbing as she quickly rubbed the burn marks on her arms that my hands had left behind.
