Wings Of Fire Ships Novels & Stories

He needed another angle, and I could not keep surviving these nights by always moving away from the fire. We took the signal platform route. The climb through the vent shaft was brutal with my injured arm, but adrenaline carried me through every ladder rung and narrow turn. By the time we reached the upper platform, the full scale of the dockside war opened beneath us. The west dock was in flames. Shipping containers are burnt in scattered rows, casting orange light across the water and the maze of loading cranes. Gunfire flashed from catwalks, container stacks, and warehouse rooftops. Viktor’s men had taken the surrendered east routes and used them to flood the dock from both sides.

“We have movement—north ridge. Five—no, seven—wolves. Not ours.” I touched the pulse under my skin, summoned the flame just enough to make my palms glow. “Let them come,” I said. And beside me, Logan’s voice rose softly: “They shouldn’t have come for the fire.”

Kai By the time the ship draws near, it’s pretty clear that it’s Wyveronian. The flag’s stylized red dragon against the black background tells me as much, as does the ship’s name emblazoned on the side: Sea Flame. “At least they’re in human form,” Niko mumbles beside me. “Though, I’m pretty sure I can take ‘em regardless.” I exhale, turning to my Beta. “You’ve never once fought one of them. Hell, you’ve never even seen one of them shifted. Neither have I.”

I'm saved. Lightning flashes, a hot thin jagged line of molten light crashing into Evan's ship. He looks back at it, his face contorting with terror. His ship is on fire. Orange and red flames engulf his ship in fire and he screams, sinking quickly into the black raging waters. I can see the light of the fire slowly fade into the black depths swallowed it completely.

Prologue The sky burned red as fire rained down on the city of Celestial Falls. Thousands of large leathery wings flapped blocking out most of the light. The city felt as if it was midnight in the middle of the day. The roars of the beasts were deafening as they swooped down grabbing anyone who was unfortunate enough to be on the streets. People screamed in agony as their loved ones and children were taken never to be seen again. Celestial Falls had been a quiet place to live before the portal opened and the creatures arrived. One day they were happily going on with their lives and in an instant, they were living in a city of fire and blood.

She saw a small whirlpool form on the surface of the water and approach the last remnants of the boat, as the ash slowly fell into the river. The wind reached the sparks of flames and ashes and lifted them into the air, making them dance to the time of a gentle music, while the sparks revived, as animated by real life, and followed the breath, forming a firebird that slowly spread its magnificent wings and rose into the sky to hover, finally free. Sumon watched, while the firebird was accompanied by the wind higher and higher, until it disappeared completely in the middle of the white clouds. Nothing remained, not even ashes.

"Forever" McKenzie connected our lips as she kissed me passionately ,holding me securely against her body..The fireworks, the butterflies in my stomach ,that only her can give me ,still much there..The electricity and the flame that ignites inside of me whenever McKenzie touches me was something I couldn't explain, there was literally no words that could describe that feeling..When she was close ,I forgot about everything and anything and then its just her and me and our intertwined souls..

I mean, “Will you do me a favor and get lost?” he said while fixing the hem of his fitted dress shirt, “Why didn’t Xerxes come? He knew about this one, my god,” he dramatically fixed his hair on his forehead. “You’re there, nothing to worry about,” the woman said, “Come on, let’s get this done,” All of us were divided based on our factions; The Canine, The Dawn, The Sabletail, The Wildridge, and The Averrant.

I know what I must do, what we all must do. To my left, Akin stands tall, his obsidian wings sharp and sleek, the wind tugging at his tunic as his eyes sweep the battlefield like a soldier gauging his next strike. To my right, River’s wings are the color of deep, angry storms. They shift with energy, crackling faintly as his fists curl at his sides. The fire in him burns steady now, no longer a threat but a force I can trust.

"Why are you sorry?" He gave a throaty growl and dragged a shaky hand across his face before turning to her fully. "Because if we keep going like this then you will be the dead of me and hell_I'd be lying if I say am also not happy to be burn by your flame" Frank had spoken out of breath while glancing down at the huge bulge straining the front of his pant. She followed his gaze and noticed the compromising situation he has placed himself in before biting at her lips with a giggle.
