Star Dust

Star Dust

He said softly. “I can’t,” she said as she shook her head. “I can’t think about them anymore. It has been there all night in the back of my head. I really do need to let it go. I mean, they don’t even care enough to call. They didn’t remember at all.” “Kristen.” He said as he pointed up. There were four shooting stars in the sky as she spoke, and the tear fell. “Make a wish because those probably came a long way to celebrate you.”

REWRITE THE STARS

REWRITE THE STARS

Every step she took caused the silvery sequined dress to move in waves over her luscious body. Without touching the other man, she moved slowly, sensually, in front of him, holding her arms over her head. The bottom of the dress barely brushed her thighs as she swayed her hips, closing her eyes. Mark Elderbrook, along with nearly every other man on the dance floor, had stopped to gawk at her, slack-jawed. The other women on the floor, many of whom were also very beautiful, noticed their men had frozen in place and they, too, turned to glare.

“Quit this bullshit and go sit for dinner!“ She angrily turned off the television. “Why did you do that? Mrs. Nora Williams was about to announce the date for the pick.“ I sluggishly stood from the floor with a huge frown on my face. “You mean the hideous, wicked witch of the west?“ Megan retorted with a scoff. “Mrs. Tera Greygott is the wicked witch of the west. I'm talking about Mrs. Nora Williams.“ I explained, slapping off a peck of dust on my faded gown. “All rich folks are wicked witches of the west, be it Williams or Greygott. Now go sit!“ She fired back, walking past me with angry steps. “No offense, but I think you're the only one with that mindset. Every other person around here se

Lullaby (Fable Saga Book 2)

Lullaby (Fable Saga Book 2)

It makes my head spin. The canvas is a wash of midnight blue. Bright white stars gleam like diamonds against velvet, somehow glowing with an eerie light which paint shouldn’t be able to create. The stars are hard, fixed, like silent sentinels holding the vast sky together. A million threads of translucent silver swirls through the constellations, linking the heavenly bodies in a perfect circle. A silver circle. I drop down again below the hedge and something flashes into my mind, slicing through my consciousness like a sword through flesh.

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

A cloud drifted across the full moon, and the stars, which had seemed dim under the bright moonlight, suddenly shone more clearly. Winter lifted her head and looked toward the northern sky. The star cluster named after her was glittering brightly. It was beautiful. Chris followed her gaze. She had always loved stars. She had always loved the moon. He had named a star cluster after her, and on this island, he had given her Crescent Lake. Before, he had never dared to give any of it to her. “This time, you ask first,” Chris said, his gaze returning to her face. Winter didn’t look at him, so she missed the subtle change in his eyes. They had grown darker, deeper than the sea at midnight.

I’m only half way through, but Chris is an absolute narcissistic jerk. If Winter gets back with him it’ll be a disgrace to all women. Please don’t make her weak and pathetic. Zac seems nice or William….but like I said I’m only half way through

A Handful Of Stars

A Handful Of Stars

She was scared that they would be naive again and will lose everything, and she could hardly think about anything other than that as they sat quietly on the rooftop, breathing in the cold air and sitting in silence. The eerie darkness of the night burned into her mind -- and she was pretty sure that this particular night would never escape her memory. She gazed up at the pitch-black curtain draped over the sky, and the twisted, warped shapes that the stars made against the blackness — she wondered what the stars thought about their relationship. She hoped that they wouldn't ever be star-crossed. The milky speckles seemed to twirl and dance along in various patterns, and seemed to be tugging

Love Upon A Wish

Love Upon A Wish

She stared down and saw the reflection of the night sky on the calm river. ''The sky seems to be very shiny tonight''. She then took a look towards the sky and for the first time in her whole life, she saw the most beautiful sight ever. Millions of stars on the winter night sky like gems in the dark room, filled the space above her. She can only be happy that such a beautiful night sky would watch her at her last moments. And then as she watched the sky, she saw the most spectacular scene of all. Seven shooting stars appeared before her and it was the most magnificent sight ever.

he said and went closer to her. "What are you doing?". "Stop right here, let me put this pendant on your neck," he said while showing her the pendant which was in his hand. He went behind her, and pushed her hair strands gently from her neck, and placed a star-shaped pendant on her neck. He was close enough that she could feel his warm breath on her neck. "It's done, let's go," Leo told her and went outside to take fresh air.

The CEO's Contract Lover

The CEO's Contract Lover

The stars above shimmered like diamonds in the inky darkness, each one a beacon of light in the celestial. Nina’s eyes widened with amazement as she gazed upward. The sheer number of stars left her in awe. It was as though the sky had laid out its jewels just for them. Countless stars and constellations filled the sky, and they seemed to stretch to infinity. Standing beside her, Jayden was infected by her smile. He was glad that he could create a memorable evening for her. As they gazed at the stars, Jayden stood behind Nina and wrapped his arm around her, pulling her closer. He signaled to the crew, who nodded at him before leaving the couple alone.

When Winter Blooms

When Winter Blooms

"My office window looks out over the terrace." I went still. "I was on a call," he said. "Tokyo. We have a standing call Friday afternoons, it runs long, it always runs long, and I was mid-sentence and I looked up and you were…" He stopped. Set the glass down. "You were laughing." The kitchen was very quiet. "Steven the worm," I said. Because I didn't know what else to say. "I don't know what that means." "Lily found a worm. She named him Steven. He's living in the sunflower planter now." I paused. "She felt strongly about it."
