Defenders of the Crown

Defenders of the Crown

Anyway, no one but the three, now four, of us knows about this key," Diana informed, as she slotted the key into the keyhole, and turned it slightly. Sia chuckled. "Why a wooden door? Don't you realise that door can be broken down?" Diana shut the door again, then stepped back. "Try it." "If that's what you want. But I will not be fixing it, okay?" Sia stated, before squaring her shoulders. "Move back, I would not want flying burnt pieces of wood touching you," Sia warned when she saw Diana still by the door. Diana moved back, although all she wanted to do was get into the house, she also wanted to see the anticipated look of shock on Sia's face, above everything else, even above her heat th

Tangled In Velvet

Tangled In Velvet

“My grandfather used it during blackouts. It should be behind the reserve rack. Help me.” She moved beside him. Together, they dragged the rolling wine rack from its groove. Glass bottles clinked. One fell, shattered. They flinched but the sound above didn’t change. “Here,” Dorian said. “Feel this.” Her fingers found a recessed metal handle beneath a wooden panel. Cold. Rusted. She pulled. Nothing. He braced beside her. “On three.” They yanked. The hatch gave with a violent groan. Cold air rushed up.

Witch

Witch

The eight youths started to stand behind Azareel. The wind blew hard against everything that got in his way. Along with the wind, red particles started flying and coalesced into a door. The door is like a glass door that is easily broken, looking from the outside, you will see the view of the road behind it, like a glass door in general. Azareel stepped forward after the wind stopped blowing, as did the rest of his friends. Looking back with an unsure gaze, made Eruza come over to him.

Beauty & the Alpha

Beauty & the Alpha

It felt frail, and when I turned it, the knob fell off and bounced on the ground, while the door remained locked. Great! I groaned, shrugging my hand in an attempt to clean the dirt and dust from the sleeve. I rounded the house, searching for another way to get in, but the windows didn’t seem too promising with the shards of glass hanging around the edges like death traps. The only way in was the door without a handle now. Perhaps the witch used magic to make the house appear decayed and empty. So chances were that I was at the right place, I just needed to find a way in.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

What? The hydraulic hinges make the six inch thick hunk of metal pull up like it weighs no more than a piece of paper. Nickolas ducks and starts walking down the metal steps, so we follow. As soon as we get to the bottom he hits another button and the trap door shuts with a small hiss and we are plunged into darkness for a second.

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

The Rejected Omega: Claimed By Three Alphas

The Rejected Omega: Claimed By Three Alphas

She repeated again, this time, trying to pull apart the cell's door. "Don't do that." Sarah butted in, drawing Neon away from the door. "My sister is behind that door!" Neon said, refusing to stay aside. "If you force the door open, you'll be sprayed with wolfsbane," Sarah revealed, pointing to the small pores in the cell gate. "There's an unwritten rule – dungeon doors are often laced with wolfsbane just above them. This ensures that when a werewolf attempts to escape by tampering with the door, they get weakened and can be easily recaptured."

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

Only the part above the chest and hands remained in the position of pressing against the door. She looked like a melting snowman. As the woman let out a long howl, the bronze door, which had originally appeared, suddenly began to tremble. At the same time, a buzzing sound could be heard. The next moment, under everyone's gaze, a gap slowly opened. Although it was just a gap, for this bronze door, which was seven or eight floors high, this gap was enough for four or five people to walk in side by side. Journey Doney waved at the crowd and motioned for them to walk ahead.

Even if i still read it, this book stopped being interesting after Grand pure emperor was killed...(that is ch. 2200 maybe) It is like realms are only introduced after he reaches a peak of the previous. There is nothing special about these realms and there is nothing special about the book anymore.

THE STING OF THE VAMPIRE'S BITE

THE STING OF THE VAMPIRE'S BITE

she said, her voice calm, motioning towards the closed wooden door. “You sure?” I asked, narrowing my eyes at her. She didn’t respond, simply stepping aside, her glowing presence radiating quiet authority. As I brushed past her, she added softly, “You don’t need an invitation.” That was all I needed. With a powerful kick, I sent the door crashing open, splinters flying as it slammed against the wall. My eyes immediately locked on him—the dwarf witch. He was seated on a large brown fabric, a young woman beside him. Two candles flanked her on either side, their faint light casting flickering shadows across the room.

Dream Dominant Collection

Dream Dominant Collection

Get it together, Jessi. A knock on the door interrupted her thoughts. "Hi, Jessi. All finished with the gate," Judd said. "Want to come check it out?" She followed him down the driveway, Buddy romping along behind them. Judd showed her how the panels could now swing toward each other and fasten together using a pin lowered into a hole in the asphalt. "This is nice, Judd, really. It hasn't worked properly in about ten years." Not knowing what else to do with them, she put her hands on her hips. "I appreciate it. But again, it really isn't necessary."

Aegis Group Dangerous Ladies

Haley crossed to the door and began examining the hinges, how the two swinging pieces were attached. "They made sure to tell me this bar that the doors attach to is anchored into the foundation." "But what about the hinges? The screws? Bolts? One weak point could change everything." She was aware of Konstantin at her back while she went over the doors. They weren't cheaply made, which was a disappointment. The bars were as thick as her thumb, so not likely to bend, and she doubted they'd be able to break them. And there were no hinges. The post went through holes formed into the gates.
