" I said as I grabbed his arms. Not liking the state of panick he was in. My wolf! Where is she? Why can't I feel her? Her? I said looking at him, trying to control my facial expression even though I was thinking he was crazy at this moment. There's no such thing, males don't get a female wolf. It's male human/male wolf. Or female human/ female wolf. They don't just magically swap them around. "You do realize you're a guy? that means you're wolf will be male, not female." I said. Trying not to hurt his feelings.

Zane’s POV “You want me to breed for you,” I said dryly. I knew it was the truth. Witches had no regard for the male species. They respected their own male kind, warlocks, to a certain extent. But they didn’t have mates. They didn’t marry. They didn’t couple. Witches only lived with other female witches, in their covens. They raised their young together. If the child was a female, they kept it in their coven. If it was a male, they sent it off once it was of age.

“You’re in for a surprise, Lucien. I’ve been itching for a challenge like this.” I respond with a cold smile, my voice filled with unwavering resolve. “Let’s see if you can live up to the hype.” The tension between us reaches its peak, the air crackling with magic and anticipation. As I stand just a few meters away from the male witch, he suddenly leaps into the air, conjuring large fireballs and hurling them towards me. I quickly shout to Adam and the soldiers, instructing them to keep their distance as I swiftly dodge the fiery onslaught. The male witch remains suspended in the air, taunting me with insulting comments about my supposed cowardice.

While Eric and Tate just looked at me like they normally did. “How do you not know what a warlock is?” Ryan asked. “A warlock is a male witch. They are distrustful and they are only out for their own gains. Never trust a warlock to do anything for you because they will turn on you in a heartbeat.” Tate answered before I got the chance to respond to Ryan.

Like what a real man must smell like? I giggled at the image and blushed terribly. My wolf propelled me forward and rather than just stumble at him I raised my arms and tried to make it look intentional. I threw my arms around his neck and inhaled. Ohhh he smelled like ecstasy. Olive ecstasy and some kind of expensive cologne. “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” I said, just in his ear. His big arms enveloped me, and slightly lifted me off the ground, making me feel so little in comparison. I inhaled him further and it dawned on me that he was a witch. No, a warlock … that’s the word for males.

“Being a witch is more than just waving your wand around.” Mistress Sungul would always say, her own wand poised between her fingers. “We are what mages dream to be. We are what priests fear.” It was almost like a mantra. As Sungul leisurely paced around the room, soaking in my blank stares and gazing at the mist that oozed from her wand, she would repeat herself. Sometimes muttering so low that I had to strain to hear her. Usually, she was boisterous, loudly jabbering on about our roles as witches.

she asked the warlock. Shaking his head, Scott made his way toward the house. Witches sat on the sofa playing with their hair. Warlocks watched them, grinning. The animosity between the witches and warlocks was legendary. Witches were always female while warlocks were men. He didn’t understand the whole story, but their battles had been going on for centuries. The scent of the forest surrounded him as one of the bears came out of the kitchen. He was a tall man.

Her cheeks were flushed and her eyes were wet. "Listen to me," I said quietly. "You are Cressida Ashcroft. Half-griffin. Hockey player. My responsibility." I held her gaze. "You are not a witch. You have never been a witch. The ice is griffin magic. The wings are griffin magic. The binding was a griffin binding." She nodded. "Say it." "I'm half-griffin." "Say it again." "I'm half-griffin." I pressed my forehead to hers. "You're going to walk in there. You're going to answer their questions. And when I say we're done, we're done. Do you understand?"

Also her power of speech indicated well about her upfront attitude. She was clever with her words since the start. "Are you a w-witch, lady?" Slowing the speed of the carriage a little, the man focused on the lone mysterious passenger sitting on his carriage. His mind revolved solely around her now, as practicing such a witchcraft makes her obviously a witch! "What if I say I am?" Princess Rosemary uttered without any hint of surprise while soon her eyes being drawn on the carriage boy's vehicle briefly. "Gabrio is your name right?"

"Do you want me to tell you what I know?" Raihana smirked. "Duh." I frowned at her, trying not to pay attention to the way she was twirling a strand of her hair around her finger. "Witches are elemental, although they can use spells of other elements, they are in tune with their own elements a lot more and can use it with ease. Some witches have more than one element and this can combine into a new element, such as water and air, you get ice. Only females are witches, their male counterparts are stronger than humans and are referred to as wardens. They can perform some spells if given the correct tools. Apart from that, they hate our kind… and we don’t get on…"
