Leila whispered, “Witches.” My blood chilled. Before we could back away, one of them turned—eyes glowing amber, face marked with strange symbols. She smiled. Then she raised her hand—and the forest exploded into darkness.

I'm inside a different circle inside the magic array, that is not connected to the children but there is one line it's connected to, and when I looked ahead the line, there's another array ahead but that array is empty. After a few moments, the Witches circled the array and started chanting some words that I couldn't decipher, while the werewolves and vampires cut themselves and poured their blood into the array. It was the kind of Christmas Eve I had always loved; cozy, familiar, safe. "Werewolves." My cousin whispered dramatically, leaning forward so the younger kids hung on her every word. He broke the door of the basement. I smirked because I figured out what was going to happen. His eyes were dark red. His body was in the state of a wolf and human. He attacked witches. They were chanting spells. He growled in pain but he didn't stop. There were five witches and he bit each of them. He growled and came towards vampires.
