Witchcraft Cleansing Novels & Stories

It was a blood rage. This shouldn't be happening. This was exactly why the witches and I performed the cleansing ritual with the gifted one’s blood to ensure that Killian and the pack will not be affected by the effect of the crescent moon that was only a month away. The cleansing ritual didn't work. It can't be. The only reason it wouldn't have worked was if— oh goddess. Thea wasn't the gifted one.

It was as if the cleansing ritual was not only purging her physical impurities but also releasing the weight of her past. Once the purifying ritual was complete, the bridesmaid's nurturing touch continued, using a soft, worn rag to gently caress every inch of Sabrina's body. With each stroke, they ensured that not a single trace of moisture remained, leaving her skin tingling with a newfound sense of purity. The silence that surrounded them spoke volumes, as if their intentions were veiled behind a veil of secrecy. Yet, despite the absence of spoken words, their gestures resonated with a profound sense of compassion and understanding.

His power reached for Edwards, burning through the ritual, devouring the energy meant to destroy it. “Stop!” The witch screamed. “You fool, he’s channeling it back!” “I can’t…” The world detonated. Light, pain, wind, and fire all collided at once. The circle ruptured, and a blinding explosion tore through the clearing. The witch’s scream vanished in the roar. I was thrown backward, slamming into a tree. The air left my lungs. My vision blurred. Through the haze, I saw silver flames rising, not consuming, but cleansing. The blood circle dissolved, and the rift closed with a sound like thunder.

Igniting the sage, the fragrant smoke curls and dances in the air, filling the room with its purifying energy. Mumbling words under her breath, Dawn invokes ancient incantations, tapping into the hidden depths of her spiritual power. Each syllable carries intention, a shield of protection woven with her words. The combination of sage and incantations creates a barrier, a sanctuary against the forces that seek to harm Zelda. As the smoke envelopes the space, its ethereal tendrils ward off negativity and evil, forming an invisible shield around Zelda. The atmosphere becomes charged with a palpable sense of safety and tranquility, a haven in the midst of chaos.

Calla's POV: “I release the chaos. I let go of poison. I am not her,” I whispered, eyes closed. The morning air was soft and calm and I knelt in the Blackwell garden with a metal bowl filled with dried sage, lavender, and a few herbs Greta had angrily hissed were for "pasta, not paganism." I lit the corner, and as the fire caught, the smoke began to curl like fingers around me. My aunt used to do cleansing rituals. She said it helps clear thick, dark energies.

“You have to put the amulet on and recant the spell again. According to the book, it will cleanse you of the siphon and transfer it back to the amulet.” I nod my head and turn the amulet in my hand. “Okay, tell me what I need to say.” Azazel scrolls through the words, his lips moving silently, then looks back at me and chants. “Nazaewa ya impurity oth cleanse zes zaeuh!” Remove the impurity and cleanse my soul.

One person asked loudly from the crowd. I pursed my lips. “It is the same witch that cursed me. She is relentless, but worry not, I’ll make sure she’s apprehended by tonight. They still kept on murmuring. “What if she’s never caught? What would happen to us?” “We will all die miserable deaths like the others.” “Do something Alpha!” “QUIET!” My voice echoed and instantly the silence was restored. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. “Do not panic,” I said, letting the words settle over them. “The cleansing ritual sanctifies your souls. If ever she tries to take one of you, it will take her life instead. It will burn her where she stands. She will not be able to touch you again.”

I promised, though my heart was racing. Fatima, Althea, and I stood in the center of the clearing, our hands linked once more. The air crackled with energy as we began to chant, our voices rising above the murmurs of the crowd. The wolves in their cages howled, their cries blending with the hum of our magic. The purification spell was unlike anything I had ever experienced. It was as if the very essence of the forest responded to our call, the trees swaying in rhythm with our chant. A blinding light enveloped the clearing, and for a moment, everything was still.

I confessed, and Ellis covered her mouth from fear. " No William, Why?" She asked, almost crying. " Well after the battle with the witches I didn't think it was necessary to wear the talisman," I confessed. " We need to perform a cleansing ritual on you two. Even though you can't be possessed, Nifrem could latch onto you until it can find what it wants to possess." Melena said, and I nodded. " Tell me all you need, I will supply it." I offered, and the mages laughed.

“No one controls you now. But that remaining trace acts like a signal. They may be able to follow it.” Tears filled his eyes. “We brought them here?” “Not by choice. You did not know.” I placed a hand on his shoulder. “We can remove the last of it. For you and for anyone else who carries the same mark.” Over the next three days, work consumed every hour. Helena and Thea directed the rituals. I channeled Moonbane energy into each person who needed it. The process caused pain. It drained my strength until I could hardly stand. Yet every wolf who passed through the cleansing thanked us afterward. Relief showed clearly in their eyes.
