The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!

The Betrayed Luna Strikes Back!

“That’s your fault.” He scoffed. “You set half the hallway on fire.” More growls. Dozens this time. Doors started opening on both sides. One by one, monsters slithered out. Witches cloaked in red mist. Wolf hybrids with stitched jaws. Blood mages with blindfolds and blades fused into their forearms. Soldiers. Experiments. Killers. Ashton grinned. “You still don’t want to split up?” “Not unless you want to die without me.”

The Witch Wolf

The Witch Wolf

They fought with a fierce spirit but they were overpowered. It was a fight of Witches, werewolves and vampires against humans. It was a fierce battle but the humans won. They had the weapons and the witches, werewolves and others had the magic, given to them by the devil. “You need to live, Lucia! Live! Live!" Those were her mother's last words to her before she died. It's been fourteen years but it still echoed in her ears and sent chills down her spine. Her stomach rumbled as a thick putrid smell hit her in the nose. Her pupils darted around the room in search of what produced the foul smell.

The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

I tighten my grip on David and ask, "Your proclamation—what's the big picture? Where do you see this going? I'm curious, Alpha Nicodra. Do you have any specific ideas regarding how exactly you're going to resurrect our culture?" He lifts his glass to me and says, "I'm happy to hear your interest. My ideas are truly rooted in our conformity to a way of life that was simply not built on the beings we are. Frankly, Brigette, we are not human. In all honesty, we're monsters—at least to them, at least in our physiology." "Monsters," I repeat, tasting the word on my tongue.

Ceejay Ramirez
This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE
Gabbalaba
What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

The witch and her wolf series

The witch and her wolf series

Now I fully get why Marta sees these monsters so black and white, they are mindless cold killers. I start twirling my staff. The hamram is boring its teeth and growling from deep in its throat. The yellow eyes flicker to the other doorway and it moves a little, so it can keep its eyes on both me and the two other witches. Then its eyes go back to me, and it goes down on all four, pulling back a bit, but staying with its prey. I want to take advantage of it hesitating and step forward. “No sister, not alone”. Marta calls out.

The Alpha Witch

The Alpha Witch

The intruders were many and their scents were masked so I could barely tell who they were or where they came from. A huge fight had broken out, but the intruders were gaining the upper hand, I caught sight of a group of witches chanting a spell to weaken our wolves and I flew towards them immediately. Not many witches can fly and since they were still on the ground, I was sure that they were not witches of higher rank. Meaning they were no match for me. I secured our pack house to protect the Omegas and the children who couldn't fight then I removed their spell from the wolves.

The Alpha's Witch

No doubt in my mind that she was guilty as they came. She was giggling stupidly with her friend while they pointed at me. I didn't understand the friendship between Monica and Mrs Kagwe. Unmated females hardly mixed with mated ones, unless of course they were family. The two weren't related at all, was there something I wasn't aware of? 'Damn, that was a nasty fall. ' Chef Ronald swore, rushing to my side. But before he could even help me up, Monica spoke. 'Are you seriously going to touch..(Monica pointed at me) that? ' Her voice held so much disgust. The hate she felt for me was indescribable, and for what? All because I was born a witch?

The Witch's Wolf

The Witch's Wolf

Children screaming and the gnashing of jaws was coating the once almost deadly quiet air. In the distance I could see the two large grey wolves of Dietrich and Vance fighting off hoards of royal blue cloaked vampires. Simon's slim black wolf was barreling through the crowds as a sea of black cloaked vampires began to fight along with him. It felt surreal as utter chaos broke out and the fighting only grew worse. Bodies had already started to fall and I felt Cinnabar begin to run through the crowd towards the pack house.

His Witch, Her Alpha

I wonder as I try to pull away again but to no avail. "I'm sorry. "I whisper before saying the incantation that releases his hand and throws him across the lawn; he hits the grass as I run to the door, another growl sounding out, but this time no screams follow. I twist the handle frantically. Mom, grandma, where are you? The door is closed, and it does not budge. I step back, take a deep breath, and whisper another spell to open the door, but it repels, striking me; I stumble back before regaining my footing. That is right because all werewolves have their witches who protect them. I grunt, feeling the side effects of the repelled spell. The growl sounds again as I start pounding on the doo

CHASING MONSTERS

CHASING MONSTERS

This place creeped me out. Mama Delphine sat in her crooked chair, stirring a pot that smelled like pepper and old stories. Her sister, Marie, sat opposite, eyes open, soul gone. Breath went in and out, but there was no one home. I wanted out of here yesterday, but all I could do was wait for Lucian and try to block out the swamp witch’s mutterings. “The swamp gone quiet,” Mama said, voice low. “Dat mean de dead listenin’ again. When dey listenin’, somethin’ wicked fixin’ to walk.”

The Witch And The Alpha

The Witch And The Alpha

Ilyra explained, her voice gentle but firm as she held the old woman’s hand. "The Nexus? You're both fools if you think you can just walk into the center of the marsh and take what you want, because the path is guarded by the Drowned Witches now," Hestia said, and she looked up at me with a grim, knowing smile that chilled me to the marrow. "They are the spirits of the women your pack threw into the black pools during the raids, and they’ve spent the last twenty years waiting for a Rauvenhollow wolf to come back so they can pull him down into the silt and keep him there forever."
