Don't forget your baby daughter loves you. I closed my eyes tightly to take a deep breath and tried opening it but it refuses to open. "Somebody help me!!!!! I can't open my eyes. I screamed out but to no avail. I tried forcing my eye open but it remained closed like what was glued. Is this how the moon goddess decided to punish me. Who did I ever wrong. When is this suffering going to end? Even with eyes, I was maltreated, I wonder how worst it will be without eyes. I felt something free in my eyes and immediately my eyes opened by themselves.

V A sharp pain passed my mind. I closed my eyes . The sensation remained for a moment then it was gone. A vision flashed behind my closed eyelids. It was the vision of a man whom I had been seeing since childhood. The vision was not very clear but I saw the same pair of sapphire blue eyes that belonged to the man who was looking down at me now. I opened back up my eyes and looked at the page that slowly showed itself as I trailed my eyes down it. I couldnt help but touch the red words as they slowly filled up the page.

He picked interest immediately I said the last sentence. "What?" His eyes widened in shock. "I saw something about the book of Mageia." The shocked expression on his face intensified when I said the name of the book. "How did you know?" He asked. "I saw something about it and I think I know how to open it."

Then only then, do I open my eyes and find a cigarette inside my purse. As I light it, I have a vision of a burning building and flick it inside the gated entrance. The tapestry ignites instantaneously and the whole wall lights ablaze. I turn as I see something out of the corner of my eye. I look closer at the gate and to this day I wish I didn’t see those eyes. The eyes were deep dark spirals into an abyss that I have never seen before and hope I never see again.

After that, I suddenly shine dazzlingly, causing me to close my eyes firmly. And upon fluttering my eyes open, I felt a strange power flowing through my whole body. My eyes glowed and vivid images flashed before my eyes like a movie screen. When I close my eyes again, I can see events around the world and across the galaxy. It was as if I had enormous eyes staring at the entire universe—invisible and omnipotent. When I opened my eyes again, I was so surprised and let out a gasp when I noticed that I was floating in nothingness.

“What the bloody hell is that?” I moved away from Ryker, my eyes were solely fixated on the book. Wiping away the shattered glasses, I did not care if it would hurt me. Once it was clean, I read the book to Ryker. “It is the Book of The Damned.” All I wanted was to get a hold of that book and satisfy my curiosity but when I did, I could feel the power surging from the book, my hands were painfully attached to it. Then the book opened, forcing my palm to hold it up the pages started to flip rapidly. So many images flashed through my mind but none of which I recalled. The book slammed shut and I blinked. I turned to Ryker and swallowed before finding my voice to speak, “Did you see that?”
