He took a step back and she landed on the bare floor. "I doubt you know who I am," he spoke without fear. She laughed maniacally, "we, the condemned, have neither fear of the gods nor of man. Tell me, who are you?" He smiled, "I am no man. I am Sebastian Deusdedit, lord of the vampires." She seemed a bit shocked for an instant then her eyes glowed even more. "Even more lovely," she licked blood red lips, "your heart will give us even more power than we have ever had and we will conquer the villages and rip their heart to shreds."

Theo gives me a weak smile and steps out of the room behind Lawler. “We have a lot to talk about, don’t we?” Harmony laughs as she comes to sit next to me. “The first thing we need to do is take care of this wound. Vampires cannot care for a wound like a human or a witch. May I?” She asks again before touching my arm. “Of course.” I smile back at her.

Just as I ran toward the door, my bare foot snagged on a piece of glass on the ground and blood spattered around me. I yelled out in pain, nearly falling to the floor. My foot throbbed from the cut, and I heard the vampire gasping. When I turned back, I saw the hunger in his eyes. He opened his mouth, revealing fangs, and his breathing grew immensely. Dark swirls covered his face, and his eyes were black like the night sky. He lunged toward me in a quick motion. I managed to grab the door and pull myself out of the room, slamming the door shut just as he reached me. He ran into the door, but it snapped off its hinges as he did so.
