THE ROYALTY OF WOLFES

THE ROYALTY OF WOLFES

Miguel fills his hands with foam and rubs them together very slowly. He looks at me irritably and takes a deep breath through his nose. It's clear you don't want to talk about it. Well, too bad, because I want it. — It was foolish to go to the throne room like that — the wolf says. — If any member of the Millennial Council caught your scent, they could ask for your death for the offense. We don't like eavesdroppers around here. —So you knew I was there? Miguel doesn't respond.

Night Wolves

It was beautiful in the long-stemmed crystal glasses. "You mean our people," Rolph corrected and then looked up at Alrick. "Thank you." Alrick nodded and then filled the rest of the glasses. "No, I mean your people," I corrected. "My people are long gone." Rolph nodded. "Yes. I heard of the massacre." He tilted his head to the side, a crease forming between his eyes. "You were a member of the Royal Family of the Arctic Wolves, were you not?" "She still is," Xander replied, holding his glass up to touch mine.

The Witch Wolf

The Witch Wolf

She continued with her game of pretense. “Yeah! It sure is a wolf. My ears can't lead me astray!" “I don't think you did, and again, what would a wolf look for in a densely populated place like new York City," she said and dashed off, with the knowledge that he was staring at her. She reached the venue and was surprised to see it sealed off by the police. There was none of them at the scene. She heaved a sigh of relief but decided to take the back door as a safety precaution.

On Your Kneels, Alpha Chase

On Your Kneels, Alpha Chase

Elena *****Crescent Valley Fortress — War Hall, Minutes After the Shadows Vanished***** The hall was still buzzing with fear. Warriors whispered among themselves, some shaking, others pacing, trying to understand what had just attacked us. The lights flickered one more time before stabilizing, but the air felt different now, heavier, colder, like the shadows had left a stain no one could wash away.

Enslaved By The Lycan King

Enslaved By The Lycan King

We have werewolf senses, so it’s kind of rare for me not to hear things this close. But the Beta just smiled. Turning his boyish charms on. “Nothing, so…” He turned to the portraits I was watching earlier. “You managed to find this place.” He looked around the golden lit cove-like hallway, as if seeing the place for the first time in a while. “What is this?” I asked. “It’s the King’s Hall, as we call it. It’s where we record all kings that reigned over Vamos and the werewolf community over the centuries,” he said while looking at the portraits as if he’s never seen them in a long while.

The Wolf’s Fate

The Wolf’s Fate

Squeezing Margery’s hand, I nodded, understanding her concern before I headed down. Making my way down, I saw a shadow move towards me. Hiding in a small hole in the stone wall, I saw a man walking up the stairs. I had a bad feeling about this. He disappeared from sight and I hoped he didn’t see Margery on his way up. As soon as I reached the dungeon, I could see him there. His black wolf pacing back and forth, looking angry. Louve was dead silent inside of me and I didn’t want to bother her. I guess I had to do this for myself.

For a first werewolf story written by this author, it is a fantastic story that I really enjoyed, would have read it at once but had to keep the suspense. Finished reading this story the second time, could not just put it down. Well done for the twist in the story, made it more interesting.

This was a great book! I couldn't even tell this was the author's first werewolf book, she had to tell me in the Author's Notes. Lots of cool twists, it's a great romance and coming-of-age story. I wish this platform had the ability to let me help the author proofread this wonderful story!!

The Alpha's Secret Witch

The Alpha's Secret Witch

And when it was over, I smelled like lavender and herbs and nothing else. Forgettable, she said. Untraceable. Safe. I immediately woke gasping. The ceiling of my dormitory room stared back at me, stone and shadow. Raven's bed was empty...she was an early riser, already gone to the dining hall. The window showed a sky the color of bruises. *** Wolf History was held in a circular stone chamber beneath the east tower. The walls were covered in tapestries that moved; scenes from wolf history playing out in slow motion. A pack hunting across a frozen plain. A treaty signed in blood. A wolf shifting beneath a full moon, his bones breaking and reforming in a dance of agony and power.

The Wolf Within

The Wolf Within

Something was wrong. I burst out of the mansion finding my way to the field where her voice came from, the sight before me freezing my blood. Ariel was on the floor, her body trembling violently, hands clawing at her throat as if trying to grasp air that wouldn’t come. Her lips were pale, her breaths shallow and ragged. Around her, several wolves stood frozen, their eyes wide with helplessness. None dared approach her. "What the hell are you all standing around for?!" My voice was a thunderous roar, but I didn’t wait for an answer.

CITADEL

CITADEL

A warning light blinked as it passed, and the trio waited silently until it was gone. Only then did Abigail speak.“Every time I see one of those things, I wonder what it’d take to bring one down.” “One dream too many, maybe.” Tunde said, he looked up, past the quarry’s ridge. There it was again, the Citadel. White and gold, suspended like a god’s mirage behind the shimmer of protective fields. Its smooth towers glowed even through the smog. Somewhere in there, music played through perfect speakers, food was hot every night, and sickness… was curable.
