Novel & Cerita Wolf Hierarchy Ranks

“Haha, that’s funny. Do you know why there are rankings within a wolf pack, father?”. If looks could kill, I would be dead right now. But before he can respond, I continue. “They are there to determine the level of strength, top-down, with the sole purpose of identifying who can best protect the rest of the pack. As the beta couple, you should be the strongest in this pack after the Alpha bloodline. So, why is it mom’s duty to plan a f*cking party, while she should be one of the strongest wolves out here to protect everyone else?”.

she said, and I waved at her in response. Alone in my room, my thoughts turned to my life as a half-rank wolf. With an alpha Dad and an omega mom, our existence was considered an abomination by our society, neither fully high-ranked nor fully low-ranked. The high wolves would despise us for having our blood mixed with the slaves, while the slaves would treat us the same for being above them despite having the same blood. It was like we had no place in this world.

I watch her, my heart thumping against my ribcage. Then, I nod my head and unfold my arms from around my chest. “ Then let me tell you from the start. ” I lean forward and she leans back even if there is a whole table between us. This makes me pause and lean back. “ It started with the previous Alpha King Desias…You know what an Alpha King is, right? ” I start but then stop to question her. Violet nods her head in a yes. “ Werewolves have a hierarchy system. A group of werewolves which is called a pack is ruled by an Alpha and all the Alphas of different packs answer to the Alpha King who is the sole ruler of the werewolf race. ” I tell her anyway.

“Twins were obviously a shock to our parents when we were born. Twins are so rare in the wolf communities, and our father was an alpha, meaning that his son would be too. Then when he had two sons there were so many questions on what that would mean for our future. Mom and Dad conferred with the elders on what do to.” The elders were like royalty and the government all rolled into one for wolves. They knew all the stories and secrets kept throughout the wolves’ time in this world. They also are the protectors of our kind, in charge of keeping us a secret all while we learn to coexist with non wolves. The elder’s make the law, and their say is final.

As a teenage girl, I am the only one that would not be allowed to live in the packhouse. At 15, girls become unranked. Before that we are considered the rank of our parents, so I have been unranked for 2 years, 11 months and 13 days. I turn 18 in two short weeks. I don't expect to find that I have a wolf when I turn 18. I just kind of think that if I had a wolf, I would feel it. Besides, I have a plan and having a wolf isn't in the plan.

Andrew says. I nod my head. I have not even had time to put together my pack. My father’s wolves will still be loyal, but my hierarchy is unselected as far as the wolves I select for jobs and positions. We are blind in all of this right now. It will be hard for us to defend ourselves against a vampire attack.

The woman tugged at her husband's arm as her eyes clouded over, and she began to speak to him mentally. "Your son is an omega," Axil stated coldly as he began to explain, "let me educate all the humans that are with us today. Werewolves are born with ranks due to their bloodline. We have the Alphas, then the Betas, the deltas, then finally the omegas, the weakest among us. Of course, it is possible for an Omega or Delta to raise in rank, but it's rare since they'll have to kill either an Alpha or a beta. Although they are the weakest of the pack, don't get me wrong. We don't shun them. Our job as leaders is to protect them. That's why werewolves move in packs. Every werewolf in this square r

She chuckled in embarrassment before she started walking and we followed behind. Here at Ravencrest. It is important that everyone knows their place and their importance on the pack. It helps us recognize who is higher than us. It’s simple. Rank 1 is the highest, only the alphas belong in that rank. Rank 2 wolves are betas, second in commands, elders and their children. Rank 3 includes the scout leaders, hunter leaders, and basically and wolf that holds a position of leadership. Rank 4 included the scouts, guards, hunters, fighters, doctors, nurses and medical trainees.” Maya explained easily as we listened closely.

Which meant that I was to go through my ceremony truly alone. At the Midnight ceremony, I will also discover another aspect about myself, which is my place in the wolf hierarchy, my tier. There were three tiers in the wolf hierarchy, Alpha, Delta and Omega. Alphas were the rarest of them all, born leaders. Deltas were commoner than Alphas, but unlike being an Alpha, being a Delta was not inherited from the parents. Omegas were the commonest tier, and like Deltas, it was totally random being an Omega.
