Wolf Hierarchy System Novels & Stories

Jake felt it anyway; he’d felt it on the road when the run-over wolf got up, cocked its head like it was listening, and turned away. Sorenson leaned in. “How sure?” Kimberly tapped the spikes. “These are not reflex arcs. Not random seizure activity. She’s imposing rhythm on their limbic system—synchronizing aggression, suppressing flight. Jasper’s trace did the same at onset, then broke when the antidote hit. Whatever runs the pack is broadcasting cadence.” Zak straightened. “Broadcasting how?”

He whispered to me. Beta Leo walked in. He closed and locked the door. "Shall we begin?" Alpha Zev and Luna Maisie directed everyone to form a loose circle around me. Beta Leo opened a massive book and began reading. "From time immemorial, our people have welcomed our new wolves with a ceremony to recognize our pack connection and strength. The Moon Goddess gifts us our wolves. We are stronger, faster and smarter when we work with our wolves. We honor the Goddess by accepting our wolves and allowing them to take our physical form and make it their own. We each must learn to respect our wolves, and our wolves must learn to respect us."

But to do that I have to endure the shifting, I'll have to leave my parent's home and move into the alpha's place, all kids my age have to do it. Wolves are immortal and take our sweet time before bringing kids into this world, my siblings are old enough to be my parents not that we show, the whole pack look around the twenty to the thirty-year-old mark. Only the elderly look old enough to be in their forties, now although I'm going through my puberty being a hundred years old, I only look like I'm sixteen, I could pass as seventeen sometimes in the human world.

"Within a werewolf pack, there exists a hierarchical structure that ensures order, harmony, and unity among its members. This structure is defined by different ranks, each with its own set of responsibilities, privileges, and significance." She gestured toward the whiteboard, where she had already written the word "Ranks" in bold letters. The space beside it was waiting to be filled with the intricacies of the werewolf pack hierarchy. "The first and most revered rank is that of the Alpha," Freda continued, her voice tinged with reverence. "The Alpha is the leader of the pack, possessing innate strength, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of their pack. They are responsibl

in unison. He motioned for silence with his hand. “And now for the terrible news. A pack forms a familial group and presents a unified front to other animals. Yet when one of our kind goes against what the pack expects, that person needs to be dealt with quickly and ruthlessly. Death for death, even if in this case the murderer had claimed the lives of multiple victims. Nevertheless, we can only administer justice once. Ordinarily, I would challenge the murderer and confront him wolf to wolf, as is customary. Yet I ask Silver Town’s sheriff, my Uncle Sheridan, to defend me.

Whatever the fuck that means in the werewolf community. Alpha would be the leader, and Beta would be second in the group based on the old standard of how wolf packs were previously defined. Of course, those terms have gone the way of the dodo as scientists have studied further and felt the previously described hierarchy isn’t accurate. This is just a lot to take in, and while it may seem minor in the grand scheme of life, the fact that people at work heard Hale telling me we can’t be more than professional irks me. I mean, great, I’m not paranoid. But I would prefer being paranoid than right in this case. Now I know people in our office have been gossiping about us.

He said, "I thought you were on her side all this while. But please, you are not doing us any kindness here. Do you think you are doing the right thing? I can tell you are doing the wrong thing. Let's beg her and see what she does." "Beg my ass" he scoffed out a mirthless chuckle and pointed the gun towards Andre "You will not tell me what to do with her. Do you understand me!" Andre said, "Calm down. That will do, Norris. There is no need for that." My lips trembled at the drama. They wouldn't dare to fight me or my wolf, because we both were just deadly. I could single-handedly take on a whole Pack and beat them to a pulp.

"So you find the pack's hierarchy system ridiculous?" "No, it's just...I know how these wolves feel. I have been there myself." I said, raising ny hands to emphasize. He stared at me for a very long while, then gave a small nod. "I understand where you are coming from, Hazel. But the hierarchy system is something I can not abolish. Everyone has a role to play." "I know. But I just don't want anyone to come help me do this little thing." I said assertively. He nodded slowly. "Fine, then. I will help you myself."

Lola asked. The employee did not even look at her, “That is classified information.” He pointed at the screen which showed a map, “So Lola. Your DNA had a unique resemblance to werewolf DNA. The DNA will give you the ability to transform into a werewolf. All we know about werewolves is that they used to live in packs and have a strict hierarchy inside these packs.
